The verdict

Barcelona is Dynamic's compact carbon far-infrared cabin, listed at $2,099 for 1 to 2 people. It plugs into a dedicated 120 V, 15 A outlet and ships in one box. The catch is size: the interior is 36 × 32 in, and Dynamic's own 2-person models are wider.

The trade-off

The interior is narrow for two, no EMF report or safety listing is published, and a return costs 20% plus freight.

A GOOD FIT FOR

One adult, or two smaller adults, with a dedicated 15 A circuit and about 39 × 38 in of floor space who want a low price.

One adult, or two smaller adults who accept a 36 × 32 in interior, with a dedicated 120 V, 15 A circuit
About 39 × 38 in of level indoor floor space, with 1 to 2 in of clearance around it and 10 to 12 in above
You want a low published price for a plug-in cabin that ships in one box

THINK TWICE IF

Two adults who each want a full bench, since Dynamic sells it as 1-2 person and lists a wider interior for its 2-person models
Anyone who wants a documented EMF figure for this model, since Dynamic gives a range for its Low EMF line and no report
Anyone who might return it, since a return costs 20% plus shipping both ways
An outdoor or damp spot, since outdoor placement voids the warranty
A home where you can't give the cabin a dedicated 15 A circuit
You can't have two or more people unstrap and carry a boxed cabin from the curb

What still needs checking

Total rated wattage and average power use
EMF readings for this model, and the test method and lab
Whether any ETL, UL or CSA listing covers the model
Bench size, seat height, door size and cord length
Whether freight is included, what it costs and the delivery lead time
How long assembly takes
Whether this model includes the Wi-Fi module and whether any app or fee applies
The wavelength and output of the red light feature
Whether a GFCI is allowed or required on the circuit
How the "Limited Lifetime" heading fits the 1-to-5-year terms

Is the Dynamic Barcelona big enough for two people?

Dynamic sells it as a 1-2 person sauna, with a 36 × 32 in interior and a 39 × 36 in outside footprint¹. Dynamic’s 2-person San Marino lists a 43 × 37 in interior¹¹.

Dynamic doesn’t publish the Barcelona’s bench width or seat height, so how two adults fit on it isn’t stated^{1, 4}.

The practical details.

Exact variant	1-2 person indoor carbon far-infrared cabin, Low EMF version DYN-6106-01, hemlock, 120 V, 15 A plug-in
Heaters	6 carbon low-EMF emitters. The manual's diagram labels four wall emitters at 300 W each (two on the back wall, one on each side) and two at 200 W each (a bench emitter and a floor emitter). Dynamic gives no total wattage
Electrical	120 V, 15 A, dedicated circuit required per the manual's cover. No rated total wattage is published. The diagram's emitter labels add up to 1,600 W if every emitter runs at once, about 13.3 A at 120 V. No extension cords, adapters or surge protectors

Temperature and heat-up	The controls go up to 150°F, but the manual says the cabin will most likely never reach it. Typical heat-up per the manual: about 20 minutes to 100°F, 25 to 30 minutes to about 115 to 120°F, and 45 to 60 minutes to about 135°F, depending on the model. The usual setting is 118 to 122°F. The timer runs 5 to 60 minutes, and the sauna shuts off after 75 minutes without input
EMF	The manual says Dynamic's Low EMF models average 5 to 10 mG at about 2 in from the heater panel. It gives no figure, test method or report for the Barcelona itself
Controls and extras	LED control panel inside and outside, a Bluetooth music system with two speakers and a pre-amp (no radio), an MP3 aux jack, a reading light, chromotherapy lighting, a red light button and a roof vent. The product page says the red light feature starts with 2024 models and gives no wavelength. The manual describes Wi-Fi on/off control with a separate instruction sheet in the accessory box

Delivery and assembly	Freight to the curb or end of the driveway, one box on a pallet. Two adults assemble it with clasp-together panels
Warranty (residential)	5 years on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on wood structure and glass. Parts only, no labor

Recall status	Not named in CPSC recall 26-784, and Golden Designs says its products aren't part of that recall
Dimensions	Outside: 39 W × 36 D × 73 H in, and the roof overhang adds 2 in to the depth. The manual's diagram shows 38.3 in wide and 71.9 in tall. Inside: 36 W × 32 D × 67 H in. Dynamic doesn't publish the bench size or seat height, the door size or the cord length. The cabin weighs 250 lb and has a shipping weight of 300 lb in one box. The manual recommends 1 to 2 in of clearance around the cabin and 10 to 12 in above it.
Materials	Natural hemlock wood, with a tempered glass door. Dynamic's About page describes its line as all Canadian hemlock fir construction. Dynamic doesn't state the wood grade, finish, adhesives or any emissions test. The manual says surface cracks from kiln-dried wood expanding and contracting aren't defects.

InstallationIt plugs into a 120 V, 15 A outlet

It plugs into a 120 V, 15 A outlet. The manual's cover says a 120 VAC, 15 A dedicated circuit is required, and it says no other appliance should run on the same breaker while the sauna is on. It bans adapters, surge protectors and extension cords between the sauna cord and the outlet. The manual gives no GFCI guidance. The cabin is for indoor use only, on a dry, level spot away from water, and placing it outdoors voids the warranty. Dynamic ships by freight carrier to the curb or the end of the driveway. The box is strapped to a pallet, and the driver isn't obligated to move it closer to the house. You need two or more people to unstrap and remove the box, and the carrier phones 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a window of about four hours. Dynamic can cancel delivery to islands or remote areas and may add a fee. The panels clasp together with buckles, and the manual says two adults are needed to assemble it. Dynamic gives no assembly time, no delivery lead time and no installation price.

WarrantyFive years on heating elements and electronics for residential use…

Five years on heating elements and electronics for residential use, with 1 year on the wood structure and glass, per the owner's manual. The manual's warranty page is headed "Limited Lifetime Warranty" and then describes a 5 Year Limited Warranty on wood, structure, heating elements and electronics for "1 to 5 years" from purchase. A footnote sets 5 years for residential use and 1 year for commercial use on the elements and electronics. The warranty covers parts, not labor. You prepay shipping on any part you send back and insure it, and you need proof of purchase. Coverage is for the original purchaser at the original site and ends on transfer or relocation. It's void outdoors, after modification, after repairs by anyone Golden Designs hasn't authorized, and with a worn-out receptacle. The manual asks you to register within 60 days of purchase. Dynamic's counterfeit warning says products bought outside its authorized channels aren't warranted or supported.

ReturnsOrders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase…

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, and returns must be processed within 30 days of delivery. You need a return authorization number first, and the sauna must be new, unused and in its original packaging. Each cancellation or return carries a 20% handling and restocking fee per sauna, storage and routing costs, and all shipping to and from Dynamic. Without an authorization number Dynamic won't accept the shipment. Refunds follow within 5 business days after the sauna reaches the warehouse and passes inspection. Dynamic can refuse a refund if it finds damage or you break the policy. You carry the risk of loss on the return.

Change the assumptions to fit your use. Leave an unknown cost blank. Add water, subscriptions, cleaning, shipping and taxes if they apply. Use average operating power, not the maximum rating.

Replacement parts & cost assumptions

No scheduled consumable is listed. That doesn’t mean zero maintenance or repair costs.

Purchase is the $2,099 list price on Dynamic Saunas Direct on Oct 24, 2026, before tax. Dynamic publishes no freight price on the page, so delivery cost is an unknown.
Installation is left unknown. You assemble the cabin yourself with two adults. The manual calls for a dedicated 120 V, 15 A circuit, and Dynamic doesn't price electrical work.
No filter, lamp or other recurring part is listed, so annual consumables are $0. That doesn't mean zero cost for electricity, cleaning, shipping or repairs, and the warranty doesn't cover labor.
Watts is left unknown because Dynamic publishes no rated total. The manual's diagram labels four emitters at 300 W and two at 200 W, which adds up to 1,600 W if all run at once. That's a sum of labels, not a rated or measured draw, and Dynamic gives no daily use.
Other yearly costs are left unknown because Dynamic doesn't say whether the Wi-Fi feature needs an app or a fee.

Evidence & sources.

Are saunas good for you? Our evidence review grades the research as Moderate. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

Manufacturer claimSize, weight, emitter layout and wattage labels, electrical service, heat-up times and warranty terms come from Dynamic's own product page and owner's manual.^{1, 4} These figures come from the maker and weren't measured independently. The manual is dated August 2026 and covers both the Low EMF and the Elite versions. The wattage labels sit in a drawing, and Dynamic prints no total.
Manufacturer claimDynamic's manual says its Low EMF models average 5 to 10 mG at about 2 in from the heater panel, and its Ultra Low EMF (Elite) models 3 to 5 mG.⁴ The manual gives no figure for the Barcelona itself, and no test method, lab or report. It also states its own view of EMF health effects, which this review doesn't assess.
Manufacturer claimDynamic names no ETL, UL or CSA listing on the product page or in the manual.^{1, 4} No certifier directory was checked. A listing could exist without appearing in these documents, so ask Dynamic before you buy.
Regulator recordCPSC recall 26-784, announced September 17, 2026, covers infrared saunas supplied by Sauna360 under brands including Finnleo, Helo, Radiant Health, Saunatec and Tylö. Dynamic and Golden Designs aren't among the brands in its model table. Golden Designs says its products aren't included in or associated with the recall and don't share components with the recalled products.^{8, 9} The statement that Golden Designs' products aren't included or associated, and share no components with the recalled ones, is the maker's own. A brand missing from a recall notice isn't proof that a product has no defect.
Manufacturer claimDynamic Saunas Direct prices in US dollars and offers Affirm and Klarna financing at checkout.^{3, 13} The store's cart reports US dollars. Financing is a way to pay, not a discount, so nothing is deducted from the $2,099 price.
Manufacturer claimThe manual says high heat can cause hyperthermia, tells anyone pregnant, with heart disease, blood pressure or circulatory problems, diabetes or obesity, or taking medication to consult a physician, and warns that alcohol or drugs before a session may lead to unconsciousness. It says never to sleep in the sauna.⁴ These are usage precautions, not evidence of a health benefit. The manual's disclaimer says benefits are reported for reference only and implies no cure or treatment. This review doesn't assess Dynamic's wellness marketing.
