The verdict

Enrich 2 is a two-person Indonesian mahogany infrared cabin with eight heaters and a 96-diode near-infrared LED panel, at $5,300. It's for two adults with a lightly loaded 15 A outlet who want a near-infrared panel included at a published price. The catch is the "limited lifetime" warranty: it's lifetime only on the heater core, harness and wiring, and warranty labor is at your expense.

The trade-off

The 1,780 W draw nearly fills a 15 A circuit, the panel has no published wavelength or output, and beyond the heater core, harness and wiring the warranty runs 10 years, with warranty labor at your expense.

About this price

List price of $5,300.00 on Health Mate's product page on Oct 13, 2026, with "Free Delivery" (standard curbside). No sale price or crossed-out regular price was shown. A "Special Offer Available" prompt asks you to fill in a form to see promo savings, and no promo price was recorded. The price is before tax. Inside delivery and white-glove delivery are each "quoted separately" on the product page.

A GOOD FIT FOR

Two adults with about 57 × 54 in of floor space and a lightly loaded 15 A outlet who want a near-infrared panel included at a published price.

  • Two adults with about 57.25 × 53.5 in of floor space, counting 5 in of clearance on every side
  • A room with a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet on a circuit with little else on it
  • You want a near-infrared LED panel included in a published price, not as a priced add-on

THINK TWICE IF

  • Anyone buying it for red-light or near-infrared use who needs a documented wavelength and output (neither is published for the 96-diode panel)
  • Anyone who might need to return it, given the 20% restocking charge plus return freight
  • You can't move a crated pallet from the curb and don't want to pay for separately quoted inside delivery
What still needs checking
  • Cabin and crate weight, bench dimensions, and heater count and wattage by location
  • Near-infrared panel wavelength, irradiance and wattage
  • How a "9-color" panel relates to near-infrared output, since near-infrared itself isn't visible
  • Whether the near-infrared panel runs separately from the heaters
  • Whether the lifetime offer, worded for 2025 purchases on the warranty page, applies to 2026 orders
  • Whether the LED panel is covered by the warranty
  • How the 10-year labor row fits the manual's statement that warranty labor is at the customer's expense
  • Which wattage figure (1,780 W or 1,810 W) is correct
  • Prices of inside delivery, white-glove delivery and the promo savings behind the offer form
  • Listing number and model scope behind the Intertek ETL mark
  • Whether any app or smart control exists. The comparison page tags Enrich 2 as Smart without defining it and lists App Control only for Inspire models. The same page's $5,300 Classic Enrich Series card says "Doesn't have smart features"

Before you buy

InstallationIt plugs into a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug…

It plugs into a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and the product page says "no electrician needed." The catch is the load. The 1,780 W rating works out to about 14.8 A at 120 V, which leaves the circuit little room for anything else. The manual says to confirm the breaker matches the sauna's rating and not to share the circuit with too many appliances. It also calls for a properly grounded three-wire outlet and strongly recommends a GFCI in potentially wet locations. The cabin must be freestanding (not built into a structure) on a level, dry surface. It ships crated on a pallet by freight, with lift-gate service and a scheduled appointment, typically in 7 to 12 business days. Standard curbside delivery is free. The product page lists inside delivery and white-glove delivery as quoted separately, and says extra fees may apply if the carrier needs special access or handling. According to the manual, the magnetic wall panels need no tools. The shipping page says two people can assemble it in 30 minutes or less. For outdoor use, the manual says it needs a cover and a spot under an awning or overhang.

WarrantyThe product page markets a "Limited Lifetime Warranty," but the same page's FAQ…

The product page markets a "Limited Lifetime Warranty," but the same page's FAQ says only that Health Mate saunas come with a 10-year warranty on wood. The owner's manual is more specific. Its warranty section is headed "10-Year Limited Warranty" and applies to saunas bought after 2024. It gives lifetime coverage to the heater core, harness and wiring. Coverage is 10 years on the cabin and frame, paneling, flooring, door and glass, handles, electronic controls and wiring, interior and exterior lighting, interior audio, and labor of factory-installed components. A second, shorter column of 1 to 5 years applies to what the manual defines as commercial use. Despite that labor row, the same terms say labor to replace cabin, frame, hardware and component parts isn't covered. All warranty labor must be done by the customer or a contractor, at the customer's expense. You pay shipping on parts in both directions, and removal and reinstallation costs are excluded. A claim requires timely registration. The warranty can't be assigned or transferred unless Health Mate approves. Upgrades, options, parts and accessories follow their own manufacturer's warranty, and the near-infrared LED panel isn't named. The coverage table has no outdoor column, so it doesn't address outdoor placement, which the manual allows with a cover. Health Mate's warranty page words the lifetime offer as applying to new full-size saunas purchased in 2025. Its warranty sheet is titled "Limited Warranty."

ReturnsHealth Mate accepts returns within 30 business days of receipt…

Health Mate accepts returns within 30 business days of receipt, with a return authorization (RMA) number. The sauna must be in new or like-new condition, in undamaged original packaging with all manuals. The catch is cost. The refund is reduced by a 20% restocking charge (about $1,060 at list price) and any original shipping charges. You also pay return shipping. Custom, private-label and non-standard models are non-refundable. An order canceled before shipment is fully refunded. After shipment, a cancellation is handled as a return. The returns policy gives 5 business days to inspect for concealed damage. But the shipping page says damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported within 1 day (24 hours) of delivery.

More about this assessment

Enrich 2 is Health Mate's two-person infrared cabin in Indonesian mahogany, with eight heaters and a 96-diode near-infrared LED panel. It lists at $5,300 with free curbside delivery. It plugs into a standard 120 V outlet, but its 1,780 W draw nearly fills a 15 A circuit. The "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is lifetime only on the heater core, harness and wiring, and warranty labor is at your expense. The panel's wavelength and output aren't published. A return costs a 20% restocking charge plus return freight.

Strengths on paper

  • A published $5,300 list price that includes the 96-diode near-infrared LED panel and free curbside delivery
  • Plugs into a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet, and Health Mate says no electrician is needed
  • Eight heaters across the walls, bench, floor and lower back
  • Lifetime residential coverage on the heater core, harness and wiring, plus 10 years on the cabin, controls and lighting
  • Tool-free magnetic-panel assembly that Health Mate says two people can finish in about 30 minutes

Limitations

  • The "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is lifetime only on the heater core, harness and wiring
  • Warranty labor is at the owner's expense, according to the manual
  • The near-infrared panel isn't named in the warranty
  • The 1,780 W draw (about 14.8 A) nearly fills a 15 A circuit
  • No wavelength, irradiance or wattage is published for the near-infrared panel
  • Weight, bench size and per-location heater count aren't published
  • The product page (1,780 W) and info sheet (1,810 W) give different wattages
  • Returns cost 20% plus return freight
  • The shipping page allows only 24 hours to report delivery damage

Change the assumptions to fit your use. Leave an unknown cost blank. Add water, subscriptions, cleaning, shipping and taxes if they apply. Use average operating power, not the maximum rating.

3-year known subtotal

$5,300.00

Incomplete: installation, other annual costs, energy use. This is not the full ownership cost.

Energy component: Unknown

Purchase + installation + years × (annual consumables + annual other) + watts/1000 × hours/day × 365 × years × $/kWh. Annualized allowances, not an exact replacement schedule. Excludes taxes, shipping, finance and resale unless entered.
Replacement parts & cost assumptions

No scheduled consumable is listed. That does not mean zero maintenance or repair costs.

  • Purchase is the $5,300 list price on Health Mate's product page on Oct 13, 2026, with free curbside delivery. Promo savings behind the page's offer form weren't recorded.
  • Installation is left unknown. Health Mate says no electrician is needed and two people can assemble it in about 30 minutes. So it can cost $0 if you take curbside delivery and assemble it yourself. But inside and white-glove delivery are quoted separately, with no published price. An outlet on a shared circuit may also need electrical work.
  • Watts is the 1,780 W rating from the product page (the info sheet lists 1,810 W), not a measured average. Health Mate doesn't state typical daily use, so energy isn't estimated.
  • No recurring proprietary part or subscription was found. The $0 for annual consumables doesn't mean zero cost for electricity, cleaning, return freight or repairs. The manual puts warranty labor and parts shipping on the owner. Other annual costs are left unknown because Health Mate doesn't say whether any app or service fee applies.

Evidence & sources.

Are saunas good for you? Our evidence review grades the research as Moderate. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

  • Manufacturer claimDimensions, heater layout, electrical rating, materials, warranty and return terms all come from Health Mate's own published material.16 These figures come from the maker and weren't measured independently.
  • Manufacturer claimHealth Mate's FDA disclaimer says the statements on its website haven't been evaluated by the FDA, are for informational purposes only and aren't a substitute for medical counseling. The product page doesn't claim FDA clearance for the cabin or its near-infrared panel.110 This is Health Mate's own statement, not an FDA determination. The FDA 510(k) database couldn't be queried for this review, so clearance status wasn't confirmed either way.
  • Manufacturer claimThe product page shows CE, KC, Intertek S Mark, Intertek ETL Listed and PSE marks.1 The marks appear as images, with no listing number or model scope. The listing wasn't confirmed in Intertek's directory. Confirm the electrical safety listing with Health Mate before you buy.
  • Manufacturer claimA 2018 Vitatech Electromagnetics report linked from the product page measured one Health Mate heating element drawing 2.45 A at 120 V in a shielded enclosure. It found magnetic fields up to 2.66 mG RMS at 2 in (3.76 mG at the surface on a fluxgate meter) and electric fields up to 56.42 V/m at 2 in.8 A third-party lab report, published by Health Mate. It doesn't name the Enrich 2 or a heater model, and it predates the current lineup. It says it covers only the heating element, not the assembled sauna, so in-cabin exposure may differ.
  • Manufacturer claimA May 2025 lab report linked from the product page lists thermal emittance of 0.526 for a curved heater sample and 0.459 for a flat one, citing ASTM E903.9 A third-party lab report, published by Health Mate. It doesn't name the Enrich 2, the Tecoloy heater or any heater model, and only the front of each sample was analyzed. ASTM E903 is titled as a method for solar absorptance, reflectance and transmittance.
  • Manufacturer claimThe product page says targeted red light wavelengths help stimulate mitochondrial activity. It gives no wavelength, irradiance or dose for the 96-diode panel. The info sheet describes it as a customizable 9-color near-infrared panel.12 This is Health Mate's marketing, not evidence of a health benefit, and the page cites no studies for it. Without wavelength and output figures, the panel can't be compared with dedicated red-light or near-infrared devices.
  • Manufacturer claimThe manual sets use limits and precautions: a 170°F maximum and sessions of 5 to 60 minutes. It calls for consulting a physician in cases of pregnancy, heart disease, blood pressure or circulatory problems, diabetes, obesity or medication use. It also calls for close supervision of small children.3 These are usage precautions, not evidence of a health benefit. The manual also warns that alcohol or drugs before or during a session may lead to unconsciousness.
