What we collect
We don’t ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. The site has no accounts, sign-up forms or comments.
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard data with each request, such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the page you asked for. It uses that data to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
We don’t keep our own request logs beyond what Cloudflare retains to operate the service. We don’t use that data to identify you.
Cookies and similar storage
The site doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies. If you turn on Reduce motion, your browser remembers that choice until you close the tab. It stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.
The public site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and visits and measure page performance, including page-load timing and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare injects its analytics script on the public domain, except for visitors from the European Union. It does not use analytics cookies or track you across sites. We see aggregate reports, not individual visitor profiles. This does not track purchases on stores linked from this site.
When you click through to a store
Buttons such as Check price take you to a brand’s or retailer’s site. Some of them may be affiliate links, and each review says under its button whether that one is. When it is, the store, or the affiliate network that runs its program, may set a cookie on your device to record that you came from Biology Verdict, so it can pay us a commission if you buy.
That tracking happens on their sites and under their privacy policies. Any brand or retailer site you click through to, including Amazon if we join its program, may set its own cookies under its own policies. The commission reports we receive may list the products ordered and their value, but they don’t tell us who you are.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Blocking cookies on a store’s site may stop it from crediting us for a purchase, but it won’t change the price you pay.
We don’t track visitors across sites, so there’s nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If that ever changes, we’ll treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out.
Children
The site is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and questions
