01 / YOUR AI ASSISTANT

MCP server.

Add https://biologyverdict.com/mcp to your assistant as a custom connector. It uses Streamable HTTP and needs no sign-in. In Claude, add it under Connectors. In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode and add it as a connector. Any client that speaks MCP can use it: the server answers protocol version 2026-07-28 and the older versions back to 2025-03-26.

It has six read-only tools:

search_products

Find reviewed products by buying guide, type, price, installation, width or room size. Each result has its dated US price, main trade-off, who it isn’t for, and a store link with its disclosure.

recommend_products

The buying guides’ picks (the editor’s choice for each use in a guide) that fit the constraints, with dated US prices and store links.

get_product

One product’s full review data: specifications, warranty, returns, consumables, three-year cost, limitations, unknowns and cited sources.

compare_products

Two to four products of the same type side by side: prices, specifications, warranty, returns, three-year cost, limitations and sources.

get_evidence

One product’s evidence entries, cited sources with check dates, unknowns and limitations, and the guide’s evidence review.

running_cost

What a product costs to own over 1 to 10 years: purchase, installation, consumables and electricity. A cost the review doesn’t know is named, never counted as zero.

02 / FOR YOUR OWN CODE

HTTP API v1.

The same data as plain JSON, with no key.

GET /api/v1/products

Search the reviews by q, category, type, maxPrice, installation, maxWidth, minRoom and limit (25 at most).

03 / WHAT AN ANSWER CARRIES

Facts with their dates and sources.

  • Every price has the date we checked it. It’s flagged after 14 days, and after 30 days the amount is left out until the next check.
  • Facts name their sources, from makers, regulators, certifiers and published studies, each with the day it was read. Like every review here, they rest on published sources, not hands-on testing.
  • Each product lists who it isn’t for. Unknown facts stay unknown, and an unknown value never passes a filter.
  • Recommendations come only from our guide picks.
  • Each store link comes with its disclosure. Links go through a short https://biologyverdict.com/go/ address that counts the click and sends you to the store. It sets no cookie.

No tool can buy anything, take personal details, diagnose, change a review or fetch other pages. It’s general information, not medical advice.

04 / TERMS AND LIMITS

Free for personal use.

Each IP address can make 300 requests a minute. When you show our facts, name Biology Verdict, link the review and show each price with its check date. Keep each store link and its disclosure as we return them, and don’t copy the data in bulk. The full terms are on our terms of use, and what we count is on our privacy page.

For a commercial product, higher limits or a data feed, get in touch.
