SUNLIGHTEN SAUNA COMPARISON

Sunlighten saunas compared: models and prices

Four Sunlighten cabins are reviewed here: the Signature I, Amplify II, Amplify III and Amplify RED III. Sunlighten’s US store listed them at $4,999 to $8,599 on October 18, all on sale. They differ in how many people fit, which circuit they need and whether red light is built in.

The bottom line

Choose by headcount and circuit. The Signature I ($4,999) seats one, the Amplify II ($5,999) two and the Amplify III ($6,999) three, each on a dedicated 120 V, 20 A circuit. The Amplify RED III ($8,599) adds red light, needs 240 V and was pre-order only on October 18.

Sunlighten sauna review: the four models side by side

The Signature I has eight far-infrared heaters. The Amplify II and Amplify III add full-spectrum heaters to a far-infrared set, and the Amplify RED III adds five near-infrared red-light heaters on top of that1357. The main choices are how many people sit in it, whether you want red light built in and what circuit you can give it.

Sunlighten doesn’t publish the red light’s wavelength or output, so the table says “not published” where that figure would go. These are Sunlighten’s own figures from its product pages, read on October 16, 2026. None of them was independently measured, and none is evidence of a health effect.

The Signature I is the saunas guide’s pick for one person, and the other three aren’t guide picks. Our saunas guide explains how that pick was chosen.

Sunlighten sauna price: what each model costs

All four prices are sale prices on Sunlighten’s own US store, before tax. Each page also prints a higher regular price, shown in the table. Freight to the contiguous US is free, and no page gives an end date for the sale18. The first two steps up cost $1,000 each. The RED III costs $1,600 more than the Amplify III.

Prices and stock were rechecked on October 18, 2026. The RED III’s store listing was unavailable, and its page offered a pre-order only, through a sauna consultant. It showed the same way on October 1678. Ask the consultant about the delivery date, because the page gives none for a pre-order.

Sunlighten’s product pages show Truemed, Affirm and Klarna checkout options1357. They are ways to pay, not discounts, and none changes the prices below.

Which Sunlighten fits you

Each suits a different need, and this isn’t a ranking. Start with how many people will sit in it, then check the circuit you can give it.

  • One person: the Signature I. It’s $4,999 on sale and 37.8 in wide, and Sunlighten says its panels fit through a 30 in doorway12. It’s the saunas guide’s pick for one person. The catch: it needs its own 20 A circuit, it lists far-infrared heaters only and an opened cabin can’t be returned110.
  • Two people: the Amplify II. It’s $5,999 on sale with a 45.2 in bench, five far-infrared and three full-spectrum heaters, and the same 120 V, 20 A circuit as the Signature I34. The catch: Sunlighten publishes no top temperature, it weighs 541 lb and an opened cabin can’t be returned310.
  • Three people: the Amplify III. It’s $6,999 on sale with a 56.7 in bench, $1,000 more than the Amplify II56. The catch: Sunlighten doesn’t publish its wattage or top temperature, so running costs are unknown, and it weighs 642 lb5.
  • Red light built in: the Amplify RED III. It’s $8,599 on sale, $1,600 more than the Amplify III, and adds five near-infrared red-light heaters78. The catch: it needs a dedicated 240 V circuit, Sunlighten doesn’t publish the red light’s wavelength or output, and it was pre-order only on October 1878.

If you’d rather not buy a Sunlighten

Two people on a standard plug: the Health Mate Enrich 2 is the saunas guide’s pick for that. It lists at $5,300 with free curbside delivery (rechecked October 18), plugs into a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet, and Health Mate says no electrician is needed12. The catch: its 1,780 W rating works out to about 14.8 A, so that circuit can carry little else. Warranty labor is at your expense, and a return costs a 20% restocking charge plus shipping1214. Read the Enrich 2 review.

Clearlight’s Sanctuary 1 (one person) and Sanctuary 2 (two people) are sold by quote only. Clearlight’s pages showed “Get Pricing” and no price on October 181516. The Sanctuary 1 plugs into a 120 V, 15 A outlet and the Sanctuary 2 into a 120 V, 20 A outlet1516. Clearlight covers parts and shipping for as long as you own the cabin, with labor for 7 years indoors per its manual1718. A return costs a 25% restocking charge plus shipping19. For the full side-by-side, see Sunlighten vs Clearlight in our cabin comparison.

Circuit, warranty and returns: read these before you order

The Amplify pages tell you to book an electrician so the outlet is ready on build day, and no Sunlighten page prices the electrical work357. The warranty prohibits a power strip, extension cord or converter, and a shared circuit voids it. So does putting the cabin within 5 ft of water9.

The carrier leaves the cabin on a pallet in your garage or on a flat, paved driveway and won’t take it up steps. Two people assemble it in about 2 to 3 hours1357. Sunlighten warns that the magnets used to assemble its saunas can interfere with pacemakers11.

The warranty and return terms are the same on all four, and the returns are strict: only an unopened cabin goes back, so check the circuit and the path into the room before the pallet arrives. None of these specs is evidence of a health effect. Our sauna evidence review covers what studies of traditional and infrared saunas found, and our three-year sauna cost page covers what a home sauna costs to run.
