The MiHIGH blanket is a cheap way to try infrared heat at home: $179 on sale for cream, down from $399. MiHIGH gives a 25 to 75°C range but no wattage, and it names only CE, not ETL or UL. Both colors were sold out on Oct 13, 2026, and an opened blanket can't be returned.
You can't check its power draw or a US safety listing, and you can't send it back once it's opened.

THINK TWICE IF
| Exact variant | portable far-infrared blanket, cream or black |
|---|---|
| Heat and temperature | Far infrared, 25 to 75°C (about 77 to 167°F) in 5°C steps. MiHIGH suggests starting at 50 to 60°C (122 to 140°F). Full heat takes 10 to 15 minutes |
| Power | US/Canada standard plug. Wattage, voltage and amperage aren't stated |
| Size and user limits | 70 in (180 cm) long, for users up to 77 in tall and 330 lb. Width isn't stated |
| Sessions | 30 to 60 minutes on the product page, 2 to 3 times a week in the FAQ. No timer or automatic shut-off is described |
| Certification | CE approved, per the product page. No ETL or UL listing is named |
| EMF | "Low EMF heating" is claimed on the product page and in the FAQ, with no figure or test |
| In the box | Blanket, handheld controller and carry bag, per the product page. The FAQ lists the blanket, controller and a brochure |
| Cleaning | Wipe the waterproof interior with a cloth and a spray of water and tea tree oil, or a natural cleaning wipe. Let it dry before folding |
| Dimensions | 70 in (180 cm) long. MiHIGH recommends it for people up to 77 in (196 cm) tall and 330 lb (150 kg). Width, folded size and the blanket's own weight aren't stated. |
| Materials | The product page lists a Poly Oxford exterior, a waterproof interior and what MiHIGH calls non-toxic fabrics. The FAQ instead describes a "high-quality leather exterior" and says all heating layers are protected with fireproof insulators. MiHIGH doesn't name the lining material, the heating element or any fabric certification. |
None. You connect the controller to the blanket and plug it into a wall outlet, according to MiHIGH's FAQ. The blankets have US/Canada standard plugs, and MiHIGH says it has only tested them on those electrical standards. Voltage, amperage and power draw aren't stated, and nothing says whether it needs its own circuit. The FAQ says to lay it on a heat-proof surface.
12 months from the date the blanket is dispatched, not delivered. MiHIGH chooses the remedy: repair, a new controller, a replacement blanket (or a similar model if you agree) or an exchange. To claim, you email support within 30 days of noticing the defect, with photos and a description. MiHIGH pays shipping both ways if you follow its packing instructions. Misuse, poor maintenance, ignoring the instructions, wear and tear, cosmetic damage and continued use after a defect appears aren't covered. Commercial use voids it, and it can't be transferred. The refund policy gives a shorter window to report a faulty item: 14 days from noticing the defect. The terms come from MiHIGH Pty Ltd in Australia and fall under Queensland law. The product page only links to the warranty page from its footer.
The product page says: "Not for you after 30 days? We'll refund your entire purchase, no questions asked." The refund policy is much stricter. A return must be unopened and in its original packaging, and an opened or used item isn't eligible. You pay return shipping, and there's a 15% restocking fee (about $27 on the $179 cream blanket). You have 30 days from delivery to start a return by email. MiHIGH issues the refund once it has checked the return, which takes 7 to 14 business days. The policy calls this a full refund but doesn't say how the 15% fee fits with that.
The MiHIGH Infrared Sauna Blanket is a far-infrared blanket you lie inside and plug into a wall outlet. Cream is $179 on sale, down from $399, but both colors were sold out on Oct 13, 2026. MiHIGH gives a 25 to 75°C range but doesn't publish wattage, so energy cost is unknown. CE is the only certification named, with no ETL or UL listing. The warranty runs 12 months from dispatch. The product page promises a 30-day refund, but only unopened blankets can be returned, minus a 15% restocking fee.
