The verdict

Mito Health charges $99 a year, or $9 a month, for member prices on its panels, and the membership includes no tests. At Quest, the Core Panel with 138 markers is $197.59 for members, plus a $15 draw fee. The catch is that prices differ by lab and refunds end once your labs have run. A Cochrane review found that general health checks have little or no effect on total mortality.

The trade-off

The membership includes no tests, Labcorp's member price for Core is more than double Quest's, and refunds end once your labs have run.

About this price

This is the membership price on Mito's membership page, shown as "$9/mo" with "cancel anytime, or $99/year". Paying monthly comes to $108 over 12 months. Mito's terms say taxes and fees are extra. The membership includes no tests, so what you pay depends on the panels you buy. Anyone can order without joining at non-member prices, which Mito says run 40% higher. For example, the Core Panel at Quest is $197.59 for members and $276.75 for non-members, and a draw fee is added at checkout. No sale price was shown. The Core, Pro and Ultra tables label their prices as starting prices.

A GOOD FIT FOR

An adult in a served state who wants to pick a panel size, pay per order and keep clinician-reviewed results in one place.

  • You're a US adult and want to choose a panel size and pay per order
  • You want a yearly baseline of 118 to 166 markers and can reach a Quest, Labcorp or BioReference site
  • You'd like to retest only some markers later instead of repeating a full panel
  • You're comfortable paying out of pocket

THINK TWICE IF

  • Anyone in Hawaii or Rhode Island who can't travel to a lab in a neighboring state, since Mito offers no lab testing there
  • Anyone under 18
  • Anyone who needs insurance to pay, since Mito doesn't accept it at this time
  • Anyone expecting a doctor-patient relationship or a diagnosis, since Mito says it isn't a medical group or lab
  • Anyone who wants a fixed yearly price that covers every test
  • Anyone who wants a refund after their labs have run
What still needs checking
  • Which clinician reviews each result, and where that clinician is licensed
  • When the clinician review finishes: under a week (How it works) or about 2 weeks after first results (FAQ)
  • Whether the labs-not-run condition also limits a refund of a membership charge
  • Whether the partner labs' CLIA and CAP status matches CMS or CAP listings (not checked)
  • Prices for the other 1,000+ tests, scans and kits in the marketplace
  • Which ZIP codes the $99 at-home draw serves
  • Whether any FDA, FTC or state regulator action exists. Web searches on Oct 24, 2026 found none naming Mito Health, but the agencies' own databases weren't checked

How much does Mito Health cost?

The membership costs $99 a year or $9 a month, and it includes no tests12. Tests are extra. At Quest, members pay $89.60 for the Essential Panel, $197.59 for Core and $323.88 for Pro, plus a $15 draw fee per visit246.

Prices are higher at Labcorp, where Core is $414.96 for members, and in New York and New Jersey, where BioReference is the lab and Core is $463.614. You can also buy without joining. A non-member pays $276.75 for Core at Quest, so one Core Panel there comes to $296.59 with the membership and $276.75 without it14.

Is Mito Health legit?

Mito Health Inc publishes its prices, terms and refund rules, and blood is drawn at Quest, Labcorp or BioReference sites23. Mito says all its tests are processed by CLIA-certified labs, and its footer reads “CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited” for lab testing by partner labs28. Those statements weren’t checked against CMS or CAP listings.

Mito says it is a technology platform, not a medical group, laboratory or provider, and that independent providers handle medical and lab services3. It says a clinician reviews every result2. You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase if your labs haven’t run, and none once they have3.

EligibilityAdults 18 and older in every state and DC, though Hawaii and Rhode Island have no lab testing and residents use a lab in a neighboring state. New York and New Jersey use BioReference. Ultra isn't offered in AZ, HI, NJ, NY or RI. Mito asks you to contact it before testing if you're pregnant

Add-ons and paymentGalleri costs $636.12 for members and $890.57 for non-members, and Ultra includes it. A coronary artery calcium scan is $249 for members and $348.60 for non-members. Mito doesn't accept insurance at this time and offers Flex checkout
DimensionsNo physical product. It's a testing marketplace with a membership.

Before you buy

InstallationNo installation

No installation. You book a lab visit at a partner lab (Quest, Labcorp or BioReference) from your Mito dashboard. Mito also offers an at-home blood draw by a licensed phlebotomist for a flat $99, available in most US states and checked by ZIP code. The FAQ says Mito usually replies within 4 business days.

WarrantyNo warranty, since the terms provide the services as is and as available

No warranty, since the terms provide the services as is and as available. Mito says it doesn't guarantee the quality or outcome of provider services, and lab results may be incomplete or inaccurate. If a sample has a problem, such as too little blood, the FAQ says Mito schedules a follow-up lab visit at no additional cost.

ReturnsA full refund within 7 days of purchase if your labs haven't been run and the lab hasn't…

A full refund within 7 days of purchase if your labs haven't been run and the lab hasn't received your sample. After day 7, refunds aren't standard. The care team reviews each request, and an approved refund has an 8% fee deducted. Once your labs have run or the lab has your kit sample, the order can't be refunded. The terms give each membership charge, including monthly and annual renewals, its own 7-day window counted from the charge date. Membership auto-renews at the then-current rate until you cancel, and the FAQ says to cancel by emailing help@mitohealth.com. If a lab rejects a sample, Mito offers a one-time recollection or account credit at its discretion, and credits expire after one year. Results that differ from what you hoped for don't qualify for a refund. Scans, supplements and prescription subscriptions have separate rules.

More about this assessment

Mito Health is a testing marketplace with a membership on top. The membership costs $99 a year or $9 a month and includes no tests. It gives you member prices, which Mito says equal its cost, plus an action plan, tracking and an AI chat (Mito Concierge) that escalates to the care team. At Quest, member prices are $89.60 for the Essential Panel (118 markers), $197.59 for Core (138) and $323.88 for Pro (166), plus a $15 draw fee per visit. Anyone can buy without joining at non-member prices. Refunds end once your labs have run.

Strengths on paper

  • The membership is $99 a year or $9 a month, and you can buy panels without joining
  • Mito says members pay its cost for tests, with the lab draw fee itemized before you pay
  • Three lab networks (Quest, Labcorp and BioReference) with 3,300+ draw locations, per Mito
  • Mito says a clinician reviews every result, and its clinicians are salaried
  • A full refund within 7 days if your labs haven't run
  • A follow-up lab visit at no additional cost if a sample has a problem, per the FAQ

Limitations

  • The membership includes no tests, so total cost depends on the panels you buy and the lab you choose
  • Labcorp's member price for the Core Panel ($414.96) is more than double Quest's ($197.59)
  • On Mito's membership calculator, one Core Panel at Quest comes to $296.59 with the membership and $276.75 without
  • Each lab visit adds a draw fee of $9.50 to $15
  • After day 7, refunds are case by case with an 8% fee, and none are available once labs have run
  • New York and New Jersey prices include a state compliance fee and run through BioReference
  • Mito's pages differ by one on marker counts and give two timings for the clinician review
  • Mito says it isn't a medical group, lab or provider, and some tests may be lab-developed tests the FDA hasn't cleared or approved

Replacement parts & cost assumptions

Recorded recurring parts and refills:

  • One Core Panel at Quest with its draw fee (member price): $212.59 every 12 months. That's the $197.59 member price plus the $15 Quest draw fee. The membership includes no tests, so this is an assumed yearly purchase. Essential is $89.60 and Pro is $323.88 at Quest, each with the same draw fee. Labcorp's member price for Core is $414.96 plus an $11.50 draw fee.
  • There's no hardware, so the upfront purchase is $0. The $99 yearly membership counts as other annual costs.
  • The membership includes no tests, so one Core Panel a year at Quest is counted as a recurring cost: the $197.59 member price plus the $15 draw fee, or $212.59. With the membership, that's $311.59 a year, or $934.77 over three years before tax.
  • Panel size changes the total. At Quest, a yearly Essential Panel with the membership and draw fee comes to $203.60 a year, and a yearly Pro Panel to $437.88. At Labcorp, Core is $414.96 for members plus an $11.50 draw fee.
  • This assumes one panel a year and unchanged prices. The terms say prices may change without notice and the membership renews at the then-current rate.
  • Without membership, one Core Panel at Quest is $276.75 plus the draw fee. At Quest, non-members pay $35.89 more than members for Essential, $79.16 more for Core and $129.69 more for Pro, so the $99 yearly membership offsets its fee on one Pro Panel but not on one Essential or Core.
  • Consults ($39 for members), the $99 at-home draw, Galleri, scans and supplements are left out. The service uses no power, so power draw and daily hours are 0.

Evidence & sources.

Are longevity blood tests and biological-age clocks worth it? Our evidence review grades the research as Not supported. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

  • Manufacturer claimMito's pages state the membership price, panel prices, draw fees, panel contents, clinician review of every result and turnaround. They also say members pay Mito's cost for tests.1249 Not independently verified. The product pages list one marker more or fewer than the FAQ for each panel. How it works says clinician review takes under a week, while the FAQ says about 2 weeks after first results.
  • Manufacturer claimMito says all its tests are processed by CLIA-certified labs such as Quest Diagnostics, Labcorp and BioReference. Its footer reads "CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited" under "Lab testing by partner labs". Its terms say lab tests may include lab-developed tests that the FDA hasn't cleared or approved.238 These are company statements about partner labs in general. They weren't checked against CMS or CAP listings, and Mito doesn't say which lab sites hold which certificate. Lab certification speaks to test quality. It doesn't show that a broad panel improves health.
  • Manufacturer claimMito Health Inc says it provides a technology platform, not medical or laboratory services. It says it isn't a medical group, health care provider, laboratory or pharmacy, and that independent providers deliver any medical or lab services. No provider-patient relationship forms with Mito.38 From the Terms of Service, last updated Oct 1, 2026. Mito's footer adds that partner clinics authorized to order the tests receive your results before Mito makes its analysis available.
  • Published studyA Cochrane review of randomized trials found that general health checks in adults had little or no effect on total mortality (RR 1.00, 95% CI 0.97 to 1.03; 11 trials, 233,298 participants; high certainty). They also had little or no effect on cancer mortality (RR 1.01, 0.92 to 1.12; 8 trials, 139,290 participants; high certainty). Their effect on cardiovascular mortality was probably little or none (RR 1.05, 0.94 to 1.16; 9 trials, 170,227 participants; moderate certainty).10 The authors concluded that general health checks are unlikely to be beneficial. These trials tested health checks in general, not Mito's panels, so they don't measure this service directly. No outcome trial of Mito was found.
