Celluma PRO PLUS is a 24-inch flexible panel with 353 LEDs and four 30-minute programs. It suits you if you want one battery-powered panel for the face and body and you're sure you'll keep it. The catch: a device used for 10 minutes or more can't be returned, and FDA lists the clearances under the Celluma3 and CONTOUR names.
A used device can't be returned, and FDA lists no clearance under the PRO PLUS name.

A GOOD FIT FOR
You want one battery-powered panel with four programs, including a body-contouring mode.
THINK TWICE IF
Each Celluma session lasts 30 minutes, and Celluma’s manual suggests 3 sessions a week for 4 weeks in each mode6.
FDA’s summaries for the Celluma3 and CONTOUR list the same 30-minute treatment91113. The Celluma3 wrinkle filing lists 3 treatments a week for 4 weeks11. Celluma’s page says to use it up to 30 minutes a day1.
Charging takes about 2.5 hours with the unit off, and a full charge runs at least three sessions6. A device used for 10 minutes or more in total can’t be returned5.
| Exact variant | large single flexible panel with 4 modes, battery-powered, device only |
|---|---|
| Panel and LEDs | 353 LEDs plus 4 green indicator lights on a 24 x 10 in flexible panel with a 16 x 8 in treatment area |
| Wavelengths | Blue 465 nm, red 640 nm and near infrared 880 nm, blended by mode. Contour uses red and near infrared only |
| Modes | Four: Wrinkles, Acne, Aches and Pains, and Contour. Celluma says the 3-mode PRO is essentially the same device without Contour, which is for the body and not the face |
| Output | The manual lists maximum output at the source: 7.65 mW/cm² blue, 9.36 red and 1.4 near infrared. FDA summaries give 6.5 mW/cm² for the wrinkle program, and 4.2 red with 0.7 near infrared for Contour |
| Session | 30 minutes, fixed, with a countdown timer. The manual advises 3 sessions a week for 4 weeks in the Wrinkles, Acne, Aches and Pains and Contour modes. Celluma's page says to use it up to 30 minutes a day |
| Battery and power | 7.4 V, 7,000 mAh (50.4 Wh) lithium-ion, about 2.5 hours to charge, and it can run while plugged in. Celluma gives different battery life figures: at least 3 sessions in the manual, 3 to 4 on the page and up to 15 in the tech specs |
| FDA status | Celluma says PRO PLUS is FDA cleared for body contouring, aging skin, pain and acne. FDA lists clearances under Celluma3 (K152280, K171323) and CONTOUR (K232977), and none under the PRO PLUS name |
| Eye safety | Goggles come in the box and are optional per Celluma. The manual says people sensitive to bright light should wear them and that nobody should look directly at the panel. It lists IEC 62471 risk group 1 |
| Safety limits | The manual says the panel doesn't get warmer than 42 °C and has an IP21 rating, so it isn't waterproof. Don't use it in a bathroom, lie on it or put it under blankets or clothing |
| Controls | A controller with on/standby, mode, start and pulse buttons, a charge light and a countdown. Celluma says it has a treatment timer and start and pause. Pulse is normally on at the start of a session |
| In the box | PRO PLUS panel with controller, protective eye goggles, power supply with global adapters and a user manual |
| Dimensions | The panel is 24 x 10 in with a 16 x 8 in treatment area (718.5 cm²), and it weighs 1.5 lb, per Celluma's product page. |
| Materials | Polyurethane foam encloses the LEDs and a shape-taking frame, with a Lexan shield over the light panel, per Celluma's manual. |
None. The panel runs on an internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery, or plugged in through its USB-C power supply (13 V, 2.76 A, 36 W). A full charge takes about 2.5 hours with the unit off. Celluma's manual says to wake the battery from ship mode on first use and to charge it fully before the first session. The panel bends to the body and needs no stand. A single facial rest is sold separately for holding it in an S shape over the face.
Two years from delivery, covering shipping damage, manufacturing defects and defective batteries. Celluma pays shipping both ways to an authorized repair location on a covered claim. A third year costs $89 as a 1-year extended warranty for a single panel, and Celluma's pages disagree on whether you must buy it at purchase or within a year. Accidental damage, moisture, cosmetic damage and normal battery degradation aren't covered, and unauthorized repair or modification voids the warranty.
30 days from purchase to ask for a return authorization, but only an unused device qualifies. Celluma's software tracks use, and 10 minutes or more of cumulative on-time counts as used, with no refund. An unused device in damaged packaging loses 10% to a restocking fee, and a broken or tampered seal costs 20%. You call or email Celluma for authorization first. The policy doesn't say who pays return shipping.
Celluma PRO PLUS is a 24 by 10 inch flexible LED panel with 353 LEDs at 465 nm blue, 640 nm red and 880 nm near infrared. Celluma's US store lists it first and calls it the best-selling Celluma. It costs $1,995 and adds a body-contouring mode to the 3-mode PRO, which is $1,795. Celluma says it's FDA cleared for acne, aging skin, pain and body contouring, but FDA lists the clearances under the names Celluma3 and CONTOUR. A session is 30 minutes, usually 3 times a week for 4 weeks. A full charge runs at least three sessions. A device used for 10 minutes or more can't be returned.
