Under-desk treadmill base with step-away stop, 330 lb limit, 10-year frame warranty

The verdict

The TR1200B Pro Glow-Up is a no-incline desk treadmill base: 0.4 to 4.0 mph, a belt of about 48 by 20 inches and a 330 lb limit. It suits you if you want a belt that stops after you step away. The catch: LifeSpan accepts no 30-day returns, and its warranty covers only home use.

The trade-off

LifeSpan stopped accepting 30-day returns in 2025, charges 20% plus $350 on shipped returns, and covers only home use.

A GOOD FIT FOR

You want a low desk treadmill base with a step-away stop, a 330 lb limit and 10 years on the frame.

  • You want a low desk treadmill base that stops by itself after you step away for 60 seconds
  • You weigh up to 330 lb, the listed limit
  • You want a frame warranty of 10 years and you use it at home
  • You're sure about the purchase, since LifeSpan doesn't take change-of-mind returns

THINK TWICE IF

  • You want incline, which LifeSpan doesn't offer on this base. The Urevo CyberPad for Home has 0 to 14%
  • You plan to use it in an office, since the warranty covers only home use
  • You want to try it and return it, since LifeSpan charges 20% plus $350 on shipped returns
  • You want a folding treadmill, since LifeSpan describes none
  • You want a cheaper pad you can send back. The DeerRun Q2 Urban ($119 on Oct 23, 2026) takes returns at your shipping cost
What still needs checking
  • The console's price, and the full cost at checkout
  • Which motor figure is right, and whether it's a continuous or a peak rating
  • Which belt size is right, 20 x 48 in or 48.43 x 19.88 in
  • Wattage and running cost
  • How the noise figure of below 60 dB was measured
  • UL or ETL listing, or compliance with the treadmill safety standard ASTM F2115
  • Whether the LifeSpan Club app is free
  • Yearly lubricant cost, since the manual and bottle figures differ
  • Whether LifeSpan would honor the warranty for use at an office

How much weight can the LifeSpan TR1200B hold?

LifeSpan lists a maximum user weight of 330 lb (150 kg) for the TR1200B Pro Glow-Up, on both its product page and in the manual13.

The manual gives the treadmill’s own weight as 77.61 lb (35.2 kg)3.

Can you use the LifeSpan TR1200B under a standing desk?

LifeSpan sells it as a base that fits under a standing desk, with a 4.6 inch step-up height at the belt and 5.25 inches at the side rails1.

LifeSpan says that step-up height takes from your desk’s available height range, so your desk must lift your keyboard enough to cover it1.

Is the LifeSpan TR1200B loud?

LifeSpan lists its operating noise at below 60 dB1.

That’s LifeSpan’s own figure, and the page gives no test method. The page also says six impact-absorbing shocks dampen walking noise1.

InstallationLifeSpan says the base comes fully assembled, and you roll it under your desk

LifeSpan says the base comes fully assembled, and you roll it under your desk. The Omni-Hub console ships in a separate box and connects by wire. The manual describes sticking the safety key unit to the side of your desk with double-sided tape and plugging its cable in. It uses a 115 V outlet, and the manual says not to use extension cords or a GFI outlet. It asks for at least 3 ft (1 m) of clear space behind the treadmill and at least 2 ft (0.6 m) on one side. The policy mentions optional room-of-choice delivery and white glove assembly, which cost extra.

Warranty10 years on the frame, 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor, per LifeSpan's page…

10 years on the frame, 2 years on parts and 1 year on labor, per LifeSpan's page, policy and manual. The policy limits the warranty to non-commercial, indoor home use and says any other use voids it, even though the product page sells this treadmill for the office. You must register within 60 days of delivery. Coverage is limited to North America, can't be transferred and needs proof of purchase. LifeSpan repairs or replaces a defective frame, motor, electronic component or part, and a replacement unit carries only a 30-day warranty.

ReturnsLifeSpan stopped accepting 30-day returns on Feb 1, 2025

LifeSpan stopped accepting 30-day returns on Feb 1, 2025. A shipped order that is canceled or returned loses a 20% restocking fee and a $350 return shipping fee, both deducted from the refund. Change of mind, compatibility, and size, weight or color aren't grounds for a return. A return needs prior written approval, the original packaging and an unedited unboxing video made at delivery, or it may be denied. Sale items are returnable for credit or exchange only, delivery and service charges aren't refunded, and refunds take 10 to 15 business days after inspection. A separate passage says a refund request within 30 days, with no technical fault, gets back only the equipment price and tax. Return shipping is at your cost. That passage doesn't match the rest of the policy.

Replacement parts & cost assumptions

Recorded recurring parts and refills:

  • Belt lubricant: $19.99 every 3 months. The manual says to lubricate every 50 hours of use or three months, using 1.5 to 2 oz each time. LifeSpan sells a 3.4 oz bottle of its silicone lubricant for $19.99, and the bottle's page says it's good for 3 applications or 3 months. Those two figures don't line up, so the yearly cost is unknown.
  • Purchase is the sale price on Oct 23, 2026, with $1,299 shown as the regular price. Tax is extra. The Omni-Hub console's price isn't shown, so the checkout total may differ.
  • Installation is $0 because LifeSpan lists the base as fully assembled. LifeSpan's optional room-of-choice and assembly services cost extra and aren't counted.
  • Lubricant isn't annualized. The manual's interval and the bottle's stated coverage don't match.
  • Energy is unknown because LifeSpan gives no wattage. It recommends up to 6 hours of use a day but states no typical daily use.
  • Other yearly costs are unknown because LifeSpan doesn't say whether the LifeSpan Club app is free. The restocking and return shipping fees on a return aren't counted.

Evidence & sources.

Are walking pads and under-desk treadmills worth it? Our evidence review grades the research as Moderate. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

  • Manufacturer claimPrice, specs, warranty and return terms come from LifeSpan's US store and the TR1200B Pro user manual.15 These are the maker's own figures, not independent measurements. The page and manual disagree on the motor rating and the belt size. The policy and manual limit warranty coverage to home use, while the page markets the treadmill for the office. The return policy has two passages on 30-day refunds that don't agree.
  • Manufacturer claimLifeSpan says the treadmill is FCC and CE certified.1 The page names no UL or ETL listing and no compliance with the treadmill safety standard ASTM F2115. Their absence from the page doesn't prove none exists.
  • Regulator recordCPSC's recall service and product safety warning listing show no recall or warning that names LifeSpan or the TR1200B, as checked on Oct 20, 2026.67 A missing record doesn't mean no incidents occurred. CPSC's April 16, 2026 warning about walking pads names a different brand.
