Installation	No installation. Put the scale on a hard, flat floor, since Wyze says carpet affects calibration. Pair it in the Wyze app over Bluetooth, then enter your year of birth, height and other details. Stand on it with bare feet. Four AAA batteries are included.	No installation. You set it up in the Withings app, with Bluetooth on, location permission and your Wi-Fi password. The app pairs the scale with a 6-digit code and then connects it to Wi-Fi. Withings recommends Wi-Fi, and says a scale set up without it loses most of its functions. It can't be set up from a computer. In the US, the ECG function needs its own activation. You give your state and a US phone number, and a board-certified cardiologist reviews your first ECG at no added cost. Warranty	18 months when you buy from Wyze on or after Jan 1, 2026, and 1 year when you buy from an authorized retailer. Those terms come from Wyze's policy effective June 12, 2026. The product page's spec list still says 1-year, while its wyze.com benefits box says 18 months. Wyze replaces the scale or refunds the purchase at its choice. Misuse, modification, attempted repairs and unauthorized retailers aren't covered, and you need proof of purchase.	2-year quality guarantee, per Withings' product page. The US store's terms of sale describe legal warranties under French law. They give no US warranty terms, so conditions, exclusions and claim steps weren't confirmed.
Returns	30 days from the purchase date, only for scales bought on wyze.com or in the Wyze app. You start the return in Wyze's return portal and Wyze sends a prepaid label. The scale must come back in original condition with its accessories and packaging. Wyze refunds the price and sales tax to your payment method, as store credit or on a gift card, at its choice. It doesn't refund shipping and handling. Purchases made during special sale events may be non-returnable.	30 days from receipt, per Withings' refund policy. One clause counts the 30 days from receipt and another from the purchase date. You start the return from your Withings account, print the label and send back the product with all its original items. The product page says free shipping and returns, but the policy says you pay return shipping after a withdrawal, so check the label cost first. Refunds go to the original payment method. Withings+ payments already made are non-refundable, with an exception if you weren't told about automatic renewal.
