Choose ifYou want water at or near 32°F from a plug-in tub and can wait 4 to 5 weeks for a unit built to order. You want cold plunges and warm soaks from one portable tub for about $4,000, and you can give it a dedicated 15 A GFCI circuit.
Main trade-offAt $12,490 plus shipping, you get no published capacity, filled weight or power draw, and only a 14-day return window. The warranty lasts only one year, and the manual asks you to drain and refill the tub every 2 to 3 weeks.
Key specifications
  • Lowest stated temperature: 32°F (0°C). Morozko says the controller holds it even when the room is above 110°F, and that the Forge makes ice. New units ship set to 35°F
  • Chiller: Hand-built copper refrigeration system that cycles on and off to hold the set temperature. Horsepower, BTU rating and cooling rate not published
  • Electrical: 110 V cord with an inline GFCI. Morozko says it operates on a 110 V, 15 A circuit in the US. Wattage not published
  • Tub size: 60-inch or 66-inch tub. Outer size 79 or 85 in long, 28-3/4 in wide, 26-3/8 in tall
  • Capacity and weight: Water capacity and empty or filled weight not stated. Packed weight 223 lb, or 268 lb on a pallet
  • Water care: Microfiltration plus ozone, with no chlorine. The filter model and change interval for the Forge aren't published. Inlet strainer needs regular cleaning
  • Controls: Digital temperature controller. Filtration timer runs 12 AM to 2 AM Arizona time by default. Morozko's manual page says units after February 2025 add a Meross Wi-Fi controller
  • Cold-weather protection: A warming circuit protects the filter, pump and piping down to -10°F for up to 12 hours with the filter pump on
  • Noise: 57 dB at 6 ft for Morozko ice baths built after 2024, per Morozko. Its sound report measured an M72 Ice Bath, not the Forge
  • Delivery: Built to order in Phoenix. Morozko's product page says about 5 weeks, and its shipping page says 4 weeks for standard orders. Curbside delivery costs $990. White Glove delivery with setup costs $1,500 or $3,000, depending on region
  • Temperature range: 32–104°F, cooling and heating. The chiller needs ambient air above 40°F to run
  • Chiller: 1 HP, 21.2 × 15.7 × 21.7 in, 88 lb, 55–60 dB. Sun Home gives no cooling rate
  • Electrical: Rated 120 V, 11 A with a NEMA 5-15P plug, on a dedicated 15 A GFCI circuit. Sun Home gives no wattage
  • Water capacity: 128 gallons on the spec card, spec sheet and manual. The store description says 80–90 gallons
  • Tub size and weight: 77.2 × 27.6 × 24.4 in outside, 15.5 lb empty. Sun Home gives no filled weight
  • Water care: 20-micron paper filter, metal inlet screen and ozone injection. Full water change every 2–3 weeks
  • Controls: Sun Home or Tuya app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for temperature and scheduling, with a child lock
Exact variant60-inch tub, white or charcoal, with the standard spa lidHorizontal, SKU POLAR623: inflatable lie-down tub with a 1 HP chiller that cools and heats
DimensionsMorozko sells 60-inch and 66-inch tubs. It lists the Forge at 79 or 85 inches long, and it says the Forge fits through most standard doorways. Morozko doesn't say which length goes with which tub. It also doesn't give the inside dimensions, water capacity or empty and filled weight. Packed for shipping, it measures 88 x 34 x 30 inches. The assembled tub is 77.2 in long, 27.6 in wide and 24.4 in high. The spec sheet gives the inside as 69.3 in long and 19.7 in wide. Empty, the tub weighs 15.5 lb and the chiller 88 lb. Sun Home doesn't give a filled weight. The spec card, spec sheet and manual list 128 gallons (485 L in the manual). The store description says 80 to 90 gallons instead, and Sun Home doesn't explain the gap.
InstallationThe Forge needs no plumbing or drain line. Fill it with a hose to about 6 inches from the top, plug it in and set the temperature, then bleed air from the filter and check for leaks. The cord is a three-prong 110 V plug with an inline GFCI, and Morozko says the bath runs on a 110 V, 15 A circuit in the US without saying whether it must be dedicated. Morozko covers outdoor use down to -10°F if the filter pump runs continuously. Set it on a surface that tolerates splashing, because the warranty excludes damage to floors and surrounding surfaces. Keep it level when moving it, since tilting the unit can drain oil from the compressor. No plumbing is needed, Sun Home says. The tub inflates to 10 to 12 PSI with the included pump, and the chiller connects with the included hoses. The chiller plugs into a NEMA 5-15 outlet on a dedicated 15 A GFCI circuit, and the manual says a licensed electrician should do all electrical work. It asks for a flat surface that can support 3,000 lb, 3 ft between the chiller fan and the tub or walls, and 36 in clear in front of and behind the tub. Keep the plunge at least 5 ft from other appliances, and let the chiller stand upright and unplugged for 4 hours before first use. The tub is rated for indoor and outdoor use, but the chiller needs ambient air above 40°F to run.
MaterialsMorozko lists a stainless steel tub and describes a polyurea Line-X coating suitable for outdoor installation. The Forge comes in white or charcoal. The standard lid is a lightweight, vinyl-clad spa lid in light gray for indoor or outdoor use. Cooling comes from a hand-built copper refrigeration system. Morozko says each Forge is hand-built to order in Phoenix, Arizona.Sun Home describes a puncture-resistant inflatable tub with an insulated cover and lid. It doesn't name the tub's fabric or construction, or the cover's material. The box also includes an air pump, inlet and outlet hoses with gaskets, a metal inlet screen, a spare 20-micron paper filter, a filter wrench, a repair kit and a carrying case.
WarrantyThree years for parts and labor against manufacturing defects, per Morozko's product page. The warranty is non-transferable and can't be moved to a new location without Morozko's permission. If you add salt, Morozko warranties only pure Epsom salt and Morozko Minerals, and says not to use chloride salts, Dead Sea salt or muriatic acid. Morozko's 72-hour on-site service guarantee covers its PRO, Arktika, Tall Barrel, XL and Mineral Bath lines, not the Forge. Morozko's ice bath machine page says 2 to 3 years, so confirm three years in writing before you buy. Morozko doesn't split the term between the tub and the refrigeration system, and it isn't responsible for damage to surrounding floors or structures.Sun Home gives the Cold Plunge a 1-year residential limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting at purchase or delivery, whichever is later, for the original buyer only. The warranty page and help-center FAQ cover labor and shipping for the first 90 days from delivery, and after that you pay both. The owner's manual says parts only, with no labor and freight at your cost. Commercial use, freezing and improper water chemistry void it. The warranty page lists one year for the Sun Home Cold Plunge and doesn't name the Horizontal separately. Extended warranties are sold separately without a listed price.
Returns14 days from delivery, for a refund of the purchase price less initial shipping. You repackage the unit and load it onto Morozko's truck, and Morozko pays return shipping. Orders paid by invoice and custom orders carry a 25% restocking fee, and only standard models bought at regular retail price through the web store are exempt. Morozko's manual page says 30 days instead, which conflicts with the product page and policy page. You can return it within 30 days of delivery only if it's unused and still in its original, unopened packaging, and Sun Home won't take back an uncrated, assembled or used cold plunge. The refund loses a 25% restocking fee plus shipping both ways, even on a free-shipping order. At the $4,099 regular price, the fee alone is $1,024.75. Approve the return in Sun Home's returns portal first, and refunds follow within 21 days of receipt. Canceling an in-stock order within 24 hours costs 3% per product, and 25% plus possible roundtrip shipping after that.
