| Choose if | You want a portable chilled tub that runs from a standard outlet and you'll keep up the 30-day filter changes. | You want cold plunges and warm soaks from one portable tub for about $4,000, and you can give it a dedicated 15 A GFCI circuit. |
| Main trade-off | A return costs a 15% restocking fee, and the 1-year warranty is void if you miss a filter change or lose the app connection. | The warranty lasts only one year, and the manual asks you to drain and refill the tub every 2 to 3 weeks. |

| Exact variant | Classic tub with Chiller Pro bundle (400 liters) | Horizontal, SKU POLAR623: inflatable lie-down tub with a 1 HP chiller that cools and heats |
| Dimensions | Coldture lists the Classic tub at 160 cm long, 75 cm wide and 67 cm high (63 by 29.5 by 26.3 in). That's about the size of a bathtub. It holds 400 liters (about 106 US gallons) and fits one or two people. The Chiller Pro is a separate box, 61.5 by 33.4 by 48.2 cm (24.2 by 13.1 by 18.9 in). It weighs 30 kg (66.1 lb) dry and 35 kg (77.1 lb) packaged. Coldture doesn't give the tub's empty weight or its filled weight. The water alone is 400 kg, or about 880 lb, at 1 kg a liter. | The assembled tub is 77.2 in long, 27.6 in wide and 24.4 in high. The spec sheet gives the inside as 69.3 in long and 19.7 in wide. Empty, the tub weighs 15.5 lb and the chiller 88 lb. Sun Home doesn't give a filled weight. The spec card, spec sheet and manual list 128 gallons (485 L in the manual). The store description says 80 to 90 gallons instead, and Sun Home doesn't explain the gap. |
| Installation | The Chiller Pro plugs into a standard household outlet, and Coldture says no special electrical work is needed. The features list says 110–120 V at 13 A. The spec table says 120 V at 8 A on a standard 15 A outlet. Coldture's FAQ recommends a dedicated circuit and GFCI protection for outdoor outlets. Electrical installation is never included in its prices. Coldture says the included hand pump inflates the tub in minutes, and the tub has a hose connection for draining. It's designed for indoor or outdoor use down to 14°F (-10°C). Coldture's policy says curbside delivery is available only in Canada, while white glove delivery covers both countries. White glove places the box on the ground floor and removes the packing, but it doesn't include assembly. The policy doesn't say which method applies to this bundle or what it costs in the US. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and the bundle page says it ships Nov 10. | No plumbing is needed, Sun Home says. The tub inflates to 10 to 12 PSI with the included pump, and the chiller connects with the included hoses. The chiller plugs into a NEMA 5-15 outlet on a dedicated 15 A GFCI circuit, and the manual says a licensed electrician should do all electrical work. It asks for a flat surface that can support 3,000 lb, 3 ft between the chiller fan and the tub or walls, and 36 in clear in front of and behind the tub. Keep the plunge at least 5 ft from other appliances, and let the chiller stand upright and unplugged for 4 hours before first use. The tub is rated for indoor and outdoor use, but the chiller needs ambient air above 40°F to run. |
| Materials | Coldture describes the tub as an inflatable made of reinforced 4-inch PVC drop-stitch material, with insulated walls and an insulated cover included. The page gives no insulation rating or hold time. The Chiller Pro is built by Coldture and has continuous internal filtration. Coldture's VIP Classic + Chiller Pro page calls the same Classic tub rotomolded, which conflicts with the inflatable description on the bundle page. | Sun Home describes a puncture-resistant inflatable tub with an insulated cover and lid. It doesn't name the tub's fabric or construction, or the cover's material. The box also includes an air pump, inlet and outlet hoses with gaskets, a metal inlet screen, a spare 20-micron paper filter, a filter wrench, a repair kit and a carrying case. |
| Warranty | One year on the tub and one year on the Chiller Pro, per Coldture's portable units warranty. Coverage starts at delivery for the original residential buyer. It covers the housing, pumps, chiller parts, heaters, sensors, controls, plumbing leaks and the filtration system against defects. Coldture pays standard ground shipping on approved replacement parts but not labor. The warranty is void if the unit isn't connected to the Coldture app or its firmware isn't kept current. It's also void if filters aren't Coldture's or aren't changed at least every 30 days. Water chemistry has to stay within Coldture's protocols. Leaving the chiller off below freezing, or pairing it with a tub Coldture didn't make without approval, also voids it. A chiller claim has to ship in the original box. Coldture's VIP page says 3 years on the tub, which conflicts with the 1 year on the bundle page. The Chiller Pro page says the warranty can be extended. | Sun Home gives the Cold Plunge a 1-year residential limited warranty against manufacturing defects, starting at purchase or delivery, whichever is later, for the original buyer only. The warranty page and help-center FAQ cover labor and shipping for the first 90 days from delivery, and after that you pay both. The owner's manual says parts only, with no labor and freight at your cost. Commercial use, freezing and improper water chemistry void it. The warranty page lists one year for the Sun Home Cold Plunge and doesn't name the Horizontal separately. Extended warranties are sold separately without a listed price. |
| Returns | 30 days from delivery, with a 15% restocking fee, per Coldture's shipping and return policy. That's about $525 at the $3,499 sale price. The policy says Coldture covers return shipping when the product is unused, unopened and in original condition, and it may send a prepaid label. The refund policy page leaves that out and says administrative fees can also come off the refund. It doesn't state the fee amount. The chiller has to go back in its original box, and a replacement box costs extra. Refunds arrive within 30 business days after Coldture inspects the return. Cancellation is free until the earlier of 24 hours after you order or shipment. Damage must be reported within 24 hours with photos. A defect or wrong item must be reported within 15 days. The restocking fee doesn't apply to verified defects. | You can return it within 30 days of delivery only if it's unused and still in its original, unopened packaging, and Sun Home won't take back an uncrated, assembled or used cold plunge. The refund loses a 25% restocking fee plus shipping both ways, even on a free-shipping order. At the $4,099 regular price, the fee alone is $1,024.75. Approve the return in Sun Home's returns portal first, and refunds follow within 21 days of receipt. Canceling an in-stock order within 24 hours costs 3% per product, and 25% plus possible roundtrip shipping after that. |
