The verdict

Vitamin D3 Gummies Sport puts 1,000 IU (25 mcg) of vitamin D3 in one wild berry pectin gummy, and NSF lists it as Certified for Sport. The catch is getting it: Nordic's page shows $23.95 but had no Add to Cart button on Oct 13, 2026. Each gummy also adds 2 g of sugar.

The trade-off

You can't order it from Nordic's own page, each gummy adds 2 g of sugar, and the vitamin D3 source isn't disclosed.

About this price

The price shown for the wild berry gummies on Nordic's product page, before tax. On Oct 13, 2026 the page had no Add to Cart button, quantity box, size option or Subscribe & Save option, so you couldn't buy it there at this price. The page shows no sale price and doesn't give the gummy count. Fullscript and NSF list 120 gummies. If a $23.95 bottle holds that many, it's about $0.20 a gummy. Fullscript shows its price only after you create an account.

A GOOD FIT FOR

An adult, including an athlete subject to drug testing, who wants a modest 1,000 IU daily dose in a chewable and a lot number to check against NSF's listing.

  • An adult who wants 1,000 IU of vitamin D3 a day, well under the 4,000 IU adult upper intake level, in a chewable instead of a capsule or soft gel
  • An athlete subject to drug testing who wants a vitamin D listed in NSF's Certified for Sport database, with lot numbers to check against the bottle
  • Anyone avoiding gelatin: it's a pectin gummy that Nordic and Fullscript describe as vegetarian

THINK TWICE IF

  • Anyone limiting sugar who'd rather not add 2 g of sugar a day from a supplement: the gummy is sweetened with tapioca syrup and cane sugar
  • A vegan who needs to know the vitamin D3 source: it isn't stated, and NIH ODS says D3 is typically made from lanolin from sheep's wool, though an animal-free version from lichen is also available
  • Anyone on orlistat, statins, steroids or thiazide diuretics, which NIH ODS says may interact with vitamin D supplements, unless their clinician has taken that into account
  • Anyone who is pregnant or lactating, has a known medical condition or takes medications, without a physician's approval: the warning on Fullscript's listing says to consult one first
  • Anyone whose clinician has advised a higher daily dose and who wants it in a single pill: at 1,000 IU a gummy, that means several a day and a bottle that runs out faster
  • You want to order it straight from Nordic: its product page has no Add to Cart button
What still needs checking
  • Whether Nordic will sell it on nordic.com, which online sellers it authorizes, and what they charge
  • The gummy count of the $23.95 bottle on Nordic's page
  • The source of the vitamin D3, and so whether it suits vegans
  • Whether the 2 g of sugar per gummy is all added sugar (added sugars aren't listed)
  • Bottle size, net weight and storage instructions
  • Who pays return shipping on nordic.com returns, and whether opened bottles qualify for a return or for the 60-day satisfaction guarantee
  • Results of Nordic's own lot testing and certificates of analysis, which weren't checked independently
  • Which NSF entry and lot numbers cover the bottle Nordic lists
  • What the package size of 1 in NSF's SMP-00088 listing refers to

WarrantyNordic doesn't state a product warranty

Nordic doesn't state a product warranty. Instead it offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. The original end-user purchaser can ask for a refund or replacement within 60 days of purchase, for products bought in the U.S. from nordic.com or an authorized seller (see returns).

ReturnsFor nordic.com orders, you have 30 days from receipt to request a return

For nordic.com orders, you have 30 days from receipt to request a return. You do that by getting a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from customer service by email or phone. For full credit, the return must arrive within 30 days of the RA# being issued. Nordic credits only products that are unmarked, resalable and in their original packaging. Defective products can be returned for a refund after a call to customer service. Nordic doesn't offer exchanges. The page doesn't say who pays return shipping or whether opened bottles qualify. The satisfaction guarantee is separate. It lets the original end-user purchaser ask for a refund or replacement within 60 days of purchase, with proof of purchase and a photo of the product. It covers products bought from nordic.com or an authorized seller in the U.S. Nordic may require you to mail the product back for inspection, and you may have to pay the mailing cost. Purchases from unauthorized sellers, or from authorized sellers in other countries, are excluded. The guarantee page doesn't say whether opened U.S. purchases qualify.

More about this assessment

Vitamin D3 Gummies Sport is a wild berry pectin gummy with 1,000 IU (25 mcg) of vitamin D3, taken one a day with food. NSF's Certified for Sport database lists it, with lot numbers you can match to your bottle. Nordic's page lists it at $23.95 without a gummy count, and Fullscript and NSF list 120. That works out to about $0.20 a gummy, or $72.85 a year. The catch is buying it: on Oct 13, 2026, Nordic's page had no Add to Cart button. Each gummy also adds 2 g of sugar, and the vitamin D3 source isn't stated.

Strengths on paper

  • 1,000 IU (25 mcg) of vitamin D3 in one chewable gummy: above the 600 to 800 IU adult RDA, and a quarter of the 4,000 IU adult upper intake level NIH ODS lists
  • Listed in NSF's own Certified for Sport database, with lot numbers you can match to your bottle
  • A pectin gummy described as vegetarian, with no gluten, no milk derivatives and no artificially derived colors or flavors listed
  • No power or setup
  • A 60-day satisfaction guarantee (refund or replacement) on U.S. purchases from nordic.com or an authorized seller

Limitations

  • You can't order it on nordic.com: on Oct 13, 2026 the product page showed $23.95 but no Add to Cart button, quantity box or subscription option
  • Fullscript shows no price until you create an account
  • Nordic's page doesn't give the gummy count, so the per-gummy and yearly costs rely on the 120 that Fullscript and NSF list
  • Each gummy adds 2 g of sugar, from organic tapioca syrup and organic cane sugar
  • The full ingredient panel comes from Fullscript, a practitioner dispensary, not from Nordic's own product page
  • Nordic gives return credit only for unmarked, resalable products in original packaging, offers no exchanges and doesn't say who pays return shipping

Replacement parts & cost assumptions

Recorded recurring parts and refills:

  • Vitamin D3 Gummies Sport, wild berry: $23.95 every 3.95 months. Assumes the $23.95 bottle on Nordic's page holds the 120 gummies that Fullscript and NSF list, since Nordic's page doesn't give a count. At one gummy a day, that's a 120-day supply (about 3.95 months). The $23.95 is Nordic's listed price, but the page had no Add to Cart button on Oct 13, 2026, so what you pay elsewhere may differ. Tax isn't included.
  • Annual refills at the label dose of one gummy a day: 365 gummies / 120 per bottle x $23.95 = $72.85. The $23.95 price is from Nordic's page. The 120 count comes from the Fullscript and NSF listings, because Nordic's page doesn't state it. If the bottle Nordic lists at that price is a different size, the yearly cost changes in proportion.
  • Nordic's page had no Add to Cart button on Oct 13, 2026, so you couldn't buy it there. The estimate uses Nordic's listed price anyway. Another seller may charge more or less.
  • Tax and shipping aren't included. No subscription price was shown.
  • The first $23.95 bottle counts as the purchase, and refills cover three full years. So the three-year estimate ($23.95 + 3 x $72.85 = $242.50) includes about one bottle more than 1,095 daily gummies would need.

Evidence & sources.

Do creatine, fish oil, vitamin D and magnesium work? Our evidence review grades the research as Mixed. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

  • CertificationNSF's Certified for Sport database lists Vitamin D3 Gummies Sport by Nordic Naturals under two codes. RUS-31142 is an immune aid/vegetarian/vitamin gummy with a package size of 120 and a serving size of 1 gummy. It carries gluten and GMO free claims and 4 certified lot numbers (233816, 243505, 250508, 251553). SMP-00088 is a gummy with a package size of 1, a serving size of 1 gummy and a country of sale of United States. It carries gluten, artificial color, artificial flavor and GMO free claims and 5 certified lot numbers. Both list 10 calories, 2 g carbohydrate and 2 g sugar per serving. NSF's search results for Nordic Naturals group these two listings under a Vitamin D3 Gummies Sport heading. That heading also holds a Vitamin C Gummies Sport (SMP-00089) listing.24 Checked in NSF's own database, not just taken from the mark on Nordic's page. The RUS-31142 listing shows no country of sale. NSF doesn't explain what a package size of 1 means for SMP-00088. Neither listing shows a certification date or says what the program screens for. A sport certification is about what's in the product, not its health effects. You can match the lot number on your bottle to the listed lots.
  • Manufacturer claimNordic's product page says the gummies are NSF Certified for Sport, non-GMO tested and made under Good Manufacturing Practices. It says they're third-party tested for quality, purity and potency, and that every product lot is tested for environmental toxins and contaminants. A certificate of analysis is available, according to the page. The page also makes structure/function statements: that the gummies support bone health, promote healthy immune system function and facilitate healthy muscle activity. Fullscript's listing carries the standard notice that these statements haven't been evaluated by the FDA, and that the products aren't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.15 These are Nordic's own statements. Its lot test results weren't checked independently for this review. The page's benefit statements aren't evidence of a health effect.
  • Independent testThe NIH Office of Dietary Supplements lists the adult RDA for vitamin D as 600 IU (15 mcg) a day through age 70 and 800 IU (20 mcg) after that. The adult tolerable upper intake level is 100 mcg (4,000 IU) a day, defined as the maximum daily intake unlikely to cause adverse health effects. NIH ODS says serum 25(OH)D above 125 nmol/L (50 ng/mL) can be associated with adverse effects. It also says vitamin D3 raises serum 25(OH)D more than D2, and that vitamin D supplements may interact with medications, including orlistat, statins, steroids and thiazide diuretics.7 A government reference summary, not a test of this product. One gummy a day (1,000 IU) is above the RDA and a quarter of the upper level. Total intake also includes food and any other supplements.
  • Independent testAs summarized by NIH ODS, the VITAL trial enrolled 25,871 men aged 50 and older and women aged 55 and older with no history of cancer. They were given 2,000 IU (50 mcg) of vitamin D3 a day or a placebo for a median of 5.3 years. Rates of breast, prostate and colorectal cancer didn't differ significantly. Vitamin D didn't significantly reduce heart attacks or strokes. In a 2022 ancillary study, it didn't lower the risk of total, hip or nonvertebral fractures.7 The trial tested 2,000 IU a day in generally healthy older adults, not this product or a 1,000 IU dose. NIH ODS notes that most participants already had adequate vitamin D levels at baseline. The results don't show a benefit of that dose on these outcomes in that population. The product page's bone, muscle and immunity statements aren't evidence of an effect.
