  • Outdoor rating: Rated for year-round outdoor use. It runs below 25°F but takes longer to warm up in the cold. The roof isn't built to carry more than a foot of snow

DimensionsExterior: 57 W × 51.5 D × 82.7 H in. Interior: 53.4 W × 47.2 D × 71.7 H in. The door opening is 24 in. The cabin weighs 970 lb assembled. It ships in one 65 × 32 × 89 in crate with a gross weight of 975 lb.Outside: 62.3 W × 45.9 D × 77.7 H in, including 2 in feet. Inside: 56.8 W × 39.9 D × 70.3 H in. The door opening is 28 in. The bench is 56.6 in wide and 20.2 in deep, 19.5 in off the floor. The eucalyptus model weighs 710 lb. Sunlighten says it fits under a standard 8 ft ceiling and its panels fit through a standard 30 in doorway. The product page gives no clearance to leave around the cabin.
InstallationIt needs a dedicated 240 V, 20 A circuit with GFCI protection. It also needs a weatherproof NEMA L6-20R twist-lock receptacle within 6 ft of the cord exit. Sun Home says a licensed electrician is required. The manual says not to plug it into a standard 120 V household outlet or share the outlet with other appliances. The 8 ft cord exits the roof at the back wall. The pad must be flat, level and draining, extend at least 6 in beyond the footprint and support at least 1,500 lb. Leave 4 to 6 in behind and beside the cabin, 20 to 24 in above the roof, and room for the door to swing fully open. The product page says to install it at least 5 ft from other electrical devices. Placing it within 5 ft of a water source that produces liquid or vapor voids the warranty. The owner's manual offers a free roof security cable kit, requested by email, to anchor the sauna. It doesn't say at what wind speed the kit is needed. The sauna arrives palletized at the curb in one crate. Sun Home says to set aside half a day and two or more people for assembly. It needs a dedicated 240 V, 20 A circuit and a NEMA 6-20R outlet for its 6-20P plug. Sunlighten tells you to book your electrician early so the outlet is ready on build day. Its FAQ says a power strip or converter voids the warranty. The warranty page also rules out extension cords and non-dedicated circuits. It requires at least 5 ft between the sauna and any source of water or vapor. The product page doesn't mention GFCI protection or clearance around the cabin. Freight arrives in two to three large boxes on a pallet, left in your garage or on a flat, paved driveway spot. The carrier calls first to schedule. The panels lock together with Magne-Seal corners, without screws or nails. Sunlighten says two people take about 2 to 3 hours. Its guides page has manuals and assembly guides for the standard Amplify II, III and IV, but none listed under Amplify RED.
MaterialsThe interior is Canadian red cedar. The exterior has what Sun Home calls aerospace-grade aluminum cladding, a stainless steel roof and double-pane black glass. A fitted all-weather cover is included.Eucalyptus tongue-and-groove boards on solid wood framing, which Sunlighten calls sustainably sourced and non-toxic. Basswood and Obsidian finishes were marked not available for this model. One line on the page says its saunas are made of basswood, which conflicts with the eucalyptus selection. Sunlighten says the glue on its boards was third-party tested by Franklin International.
WarrantyThese terms cover residential purchases in the US on or after March 2, 2026. Cabinetry (benches, floor grates and heater cover frames) and heaters get a limited lifetime warranty. That coverage applies for up to seven years, which the terms give as their expected useful life. The exterior cabin and the controls (control panel and power box) get 3 years each. LED lighting, glass doors and audio get 1 year. For the first 90 days after delivery, warranty service includes replacement parts, labor and shipping. After that, you pay shipping and labor. Only the original purchaser is covered. Weather events, normal weathering, cosmetic damage and water exposure are excluded. Lacking a dedicated outlet, or placing the sauna within 5 ft of a water source, voids the warranty. The included cover is optional, and not using it doesn't by itself void the warranty. Commercial use carries shorter terms.Sunlighten's warranty page groups Amplify with its other cabin saunas. For home use, the cabinet and heaters get 7 years, the controls 3 years, and the glass door and audio 1 year. Cabinetry includes benches, floor grates and heater cover frames. Controls include the control pad, in-sauna tablet and power box. Commercial use gets 5 years on the cabinet and heaters and 1 year on everything else. The cabin terms don't single out the red-light heaters. The general terms cover replacement parts only. Labor and technician costs aren't covered. You pay all freight, including on parts shipped for service. Coverage is for the original buyer only and ends if you sell the sauna. It's void on a power strip, extension cord, converter or non-dedicated circuit, or within 5 ft of water. Outdoors, the plastic sheet of the sauna cover (sold separately) must stay on at all times, even during sessions. The sauna must be bought and put into use within a year of its manufacture date. The page shows no version or effective date.

Sun Home deducts a 25% restocking fee plus outbound and inbound shipping, even on free-shipping orders. It doesn't accept uncrated, assembled or used saunas. Every cancellation carries a 3% fee. You can cancel an in-stock order within 24 hours. After that, a 25% restocking fee and possibly roundtrip shipping apply. Refunds are issued within 21 days of Sun Home receiving the return. Inspect the shipment before the delivery driver leaves.Non-custom saunas can be returned within 30 days of delivery, but only unopened in the original packaging. Opened saunas can't be returned.
