Two-unit air system that warms or cools each side of the bed separately

The verdict

BedJet Dual Zone gives each sleeper a small unit that blows warm or cool air into their half of a two-chamber cotton sheet. It suits couples who want different temperatures in a bedroom that stays under 79°F. The catch is that cooling depends on the room, and heat mode uses far more power.

The trade-off

Cooling is limited by your room's temperature, and heat mode draws up to 1,100 W.

About this price

Sale price on BedJet's US product page, under a "Fall Sale, up to 30% off" banner. The original price shown was $1,549, so $969 is about 37% off, more than the banner says. The page lists Queen, King and Adjustable Split King (with two Twin XL Cloud Sheets). It showed one price with no size selected, so King and Split King prices weren't confirmed. Before tax. BedJet lists free US shipping and says it's in stock and ships in one business day. Unchanged from the $969 recorded on Oct 10, 2026.

A GOOD FIT FOR

Couples who want different bed temperatures in a bedroom that stays below 79°F at night.

  • Couples who want different bed temperatures, with each side set separately
  • Hot sleepers whose bedroom stays below 79°F at night
  • You want warming as well as cooling, with no water to refill
  • You don't want a subscription or a Wi-Fi dependency

THINK TWICE IF

  • Your bedroom often tops 79°F at night; BedJet recommends air conditioning first
  • You want the bed much colder than the room itself
  • Only one of you wants it; a single BedJet 3 was $498 on sale the same day
  • A bed shared with an infant or child, or with anyone who can't feel heat well (the manual warns against both)
  • You're sensitive to fan noise and want a decibel rating before buying
What still needs checking
  • Prices for the King and Adjustable Split King bundles
  • Noise level in decibels
  • Unit weight
  • Real-world average power draw, especially in heat mode
  • Under-bed clearance: the product page says 5 in, the shared BedJet 3 manual says 6 in
  • UL file number to confirm the listing
  • Price of the four-year protection plan
  • Long-term durability of the units and the Cloud Sheet

The practical details.

BedJet describes the Cloud Sheet as 100% cotton (percale and sateen) and machine washable, with care details on the sheet's label. BedJet says there are no wires, water or electricity in the bed. No textile certification, such as OEKO-TEX, is listed for the sheet.

Before you buy

InstallationYou set it up yourself

You set it up yourself. Each unit sits under the bed or beside it. Under the bed it needs 5 in of clearance, and 3.5 in under the side rail. The hose nozzle slots into sewn openings in the Cloud Sheet, at the foot or side of the bed. Two adjustable brackets come in the box. Each unit plugs straight into a 120 V wall outlet. The manual says not to use extension cords or power strips. It also gives a 6 in clearance, so measure under your bed before ordering.

WarrantyTwo-year warranty

Two-year warranty. The product page says it covers anything that goes wrong "whether it's our fault or yours." The warranty text in the manual is narrower. It covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. It excludes problems caused by abuse, misuse or use that goes against the instructions. Claims must be brought within three months of arising, and warranty shipping is covered only in the continental US. A four-year protection plan is offered, but no price was shown.

Returns60-day sleep trial

60-day sleep trial. BedJet says that if you're not satisfied, you can send it back for a full refund. Return shipping is free in the US, Canada, the EU and the UK.

More about this assessment

The Dual Zone bundle gives each sleeper a BedJet 3 Mini unit and a remote. Both units blow air into one Cloud Sheet with two air chambers, so each side of the bed gets its own setting. It's $969 on sale (from $1,549), with no subscription and washable filters. Cooling draws up to 80 W for both units, but heat mode draws 300 to 1,100 W. The catch is cooling: the 66°F low end depends on your bedroom, and BedJet says it won't stand in for air conditioning above 79°F. There's no published noise rating.

Strengths on paper

  • Each side gets its own unit, remote and temperature setting
  • Heats as well as cools, with a 109°F Turbo mode for quick warm-ups
  • Cooling is cheap to run: up to 80 W for both units combined
  • Air only, so there's no water to refill or leak and no wiring in the bed
  • No subscription listed, and the remotes work without a phone or Wi-Fi
  • Washable filters mean no recurring parts to buy
  • Fits under beds with 5 in of clearance, or sits beside the bed
  • 60-day trial with free US returns

Limitations

  • Cooling depends on the room; BedJet says it works best below 79°F
  • Heat mode draws 300 to 1,100 W for both units, and Turbo 1,550 W
  • No decibel rating, and BedJet says Turbo is too loud for extended use
  • The manual's warranty excludes abuse and misuse, unlike the product page's "our fault or yours" promise
  • Each unit must plug straight into a wall outlet, with no extension cords or power strips
  • You sleep under BedJet's Cloud Sheet, and Dual Zone sheets come only in Queen/Full and King
  • "Clinically proven" claim with no study cited and no published research found
  • Only one sale price was shown; King and Split King prices weren't visible

Replacement parts & cost assumptions

Recorded recurring parts and refills:

  • Washable air filter (one per unit): $19. Each unit ships with a washable filter that BedJet says never needs replacing. Rinse it every 3 months, or more often with pets or dust. A spare BedJet 3 Mini filter costs $19 if you want one to swap in while the other dries.
  • Purchase is the $969 sale price shown on BedJet's US page (original $1,549). King and Split King prices weren't visible.
  • Installation is $0: you set it up yourself, and the page lists no installation service for this bundle.
  • Consumables are $0 a year: the filters are washable and BedJet says they never need replacing. A spare Mini filter is $19.
  • Annual other is $0. BedJet lists no subscription, and the app is free.
  • Hours per day is 8, the nightly use BedJet assumes in its own cost math. Watts is left unknown because BedJet gives only per-mode maximums, not an average draw.
  • Cooling at up to 80 W for both units over 8 hours is at most 0.64 kWh a night, about 234 kWh a year. Heat mode draws 300 to 1,100 W combined, and BedJet doesn't say how long the heater runs each night.
  • A spare Cloud Sheet for laundry days is optional. The product page lists one extra sheet at $139 or $149 and a pair at $258, without saying which size each price is for.

Evidence & sources.

Do cooling mattress pads, sleep masks and sheets help you sleep? Our evidence review grades the research as Weak. That grade is about the claim, not about this product.

  • Manufacturer claimBedJet lists a 66°F to 109°F range for each side. It says cooling works best in rooms below 79°F and that BedJet isn't a replacement for air conditioning in hotter bedrooms.12 Manufacturer figures. No independent temperature, airflow or noise measurements were found.
  • Manufacturer claimBedJet says the system is UL certified for bedroom use. The manual lists UL 962, UL 499 and CSA C22.2 No. 64, and says the electronics meet FCC Class B limits.12 No UL file number is given, so the listing couldn't be confirmed in UL's database. BedJet makes no FDA clearance or registration claim.
  • Independent testThe product page claims "clinically proven results" and relief from night sweats and hot flashes, but names no study. A Europe PMC search for "BedJet" returned no published research.16 Europe PMC lists no studies of this system's effect on sleep or health.
  • Manufacturer claimBedJet describes the Cloud Sheet as 100% cotton and machine washable and lists no OEKO-TEX or other textile certificate.24 No certificate number to check.
