It weighs 541 lb assembled and ships in cartons up to 14 × 51 × 76 in. You need at least 4 in of clearance at the sides and back, and 12 in above the roof. The manual, citing the Installation Guide, gives 6 in behind. Sun Home says a 7 × 6 ft room with an 8 ft ceiling fits either Equinox size.Outside: 50.9 W × 45.9 D × 77.7 H in, including 2 in feet. Inside: 45.4 W × 39.9 D × 70.3 H in. The door opening is 28 in. The bench is 45.2 in wide and 20.3 in deep, 19.5 in off the floor. It weighs 541 lb. Sunlighten says it fits under a standard 8 ft ceiling and its panels fit through a standard 30 in doorway. The product page gives no clearance to leave around the cabin.
InstallationIt needs its own dedicated 120 V, 20 A circuit with GFCI protection. That can be a GFCI breaker, a GFCI outlet or a dual-function AFCI/GFCI breaker (check local code). The 5-20P plug needs a NEMA 5-20R receptacle. Don't use power strips, extension cords or converters. The owner's manual says to have a licensed electrician install the dedicated circuit. The 10 ft power cord exits the back-left of the roof. It's for indoor use only, away from rain, snow, high humidity and liquids. Leave at least 4 in at the sides and back (6 in behind, per the Installation Guide) and 12 in overhead. Sun Home says its Magne-Seal panels assemble indoors without special tools. The manual says assembly takes two or more people. No assembly time is stated. According to Sun Home's warranty FAQ, installation that doesn't follow the instructions or electrical requirements, such as a dedicated outlet, voids the warranty. So does placing the sauna within five feet of a source of water that produces liquid or vapor. It needs a dedicated 120 V, 20 A circuit with a NEMA 5-20R outlet. Sunlighten rates it at 1,880 W and 15.67 A. The product page tells you to book an electrician so the outlet is ready, but doesn't mention GFCI protection. Under Sunlighten's warranty, a power strip, extension cord, converter or non-dedicated circuit voids coverage. So does placing it within 5 ft of a shower, bathtub or cold plunge. Sunlighten says its saunas aren't designed to be placed outdoors. If you put one outside anyway, its separately sold cover and plastic sheet must stay on, even during sessions, or the warranty is void. Freight needs a flat, paved surface up to your garage door. The carrier leaves the sauna on a pallet in the garage or on the driveway and can't take it up steps. A local agent calls to schedule delivery. It ships in two to three boxes of 130 lb each, and Sunlighten says to have at least two people to unpack. The Magne-Seal panels lock together without screws or nails. Sunlighten says two people take about 2 to 3 hours. Its support page links an owner's manual, spec sheet, assembly guide and power box guide, but those PDFs couldn't be opened for this review.
MaterialsKiln-dried eucalyptus. Sun Home says it uses low-VOC materials throughout, but shows no emissions test or certification. The outside has a limited-edition black finish that Sunlighten calls Obsidian. The inside is natural eucalyptus, which Sunlighten says is sustainably sourced. Plain eucalyptus costs the same, and basswood is $200 less. It comes with a CELLIANT heater cover.
WarrantyThe product page shows a "7-Year Warranty". A site-wide menu advertises a "Limited Lifetime Warranty" on most models but doesn't say whether it applies to this one. The owner's manual gives 7 years on cabinetry and heaters and 3 years on controls. Glass and audio get 1 year. Coverage is for the original owner only, with proof of purchase. Sun Home's warranty FAQ says limited lifetime coverage for cabinetry and heaters is for residential use only and applies for up to seven years. For orders placed on or after March 2, 2026, labor and all shipping charges are covered for the first 90 days. After that, you pay shipping and labor. Exclusions include moisture and water exposure, pests, and improper installation, including not using a dedicated outlet. Placing the sauna within five feet of any source of water that produces liquid or vapor is also excluded. Commercial buyers get separate terms. The product page shows a 7-year warranty badge. Sunlighten's warranty page groups Amplify with its other cabin saunas. For home use, the cabinet and heaters get 7 years. The cabinet includes the benches, floor grates and heater cover frames. The controls (in-sauna tablet, control pad and power box) get 3 years. The glass door and audio get 1 year, and chromotherapy lighting has its own 1-year term. Commercial use gets 5 years on the cabinet and heaters and 1 year on everything else. The warranty's disclaimers say labor and technician costs aren't covered. You pay all freight, including on parts shipped for service. Coverage is for the original buyer only and ends if you sell the sauna. It's void on a power strip, extension cord, converter or non-dedicated circuit, or within 5 ft of a shower, bathtub or cold plunge. Sunlighten says its saunas aren't designed for outdoor use. Outside, the separately sold cover and its plastic sheet must stay on at all times. The sauna must be bought and put into use within a year of its manufacture date.
ReturnsYou can return the sauna within 30 days of delivery only if it's unused and in its original, unopened packaging. Sun Home deducts a 25% restocking fee plus outbound and inbound shipping from the refund, even during free-shipping promotions. It won't take back an uncrated, assembled or used sauna under any circumstances. Refunds are issued within 21 days of Sun Home receiving the return. Every cancellation carries a 3% fee per product. You can cancel an in-stock order within 24 hours of placing it. After that, a 25% restocking fee and possibly roundtrip shipping apply. Sun Home asks you to inspect the shipment before the delivery driver leaves. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return or exchange, and the sauna must be in its original, unopened packaging. Opened saunas can't be returned or exchanged. Returns, exchanges and cancellations may carry a 3% administrative fee and a $499 restocking fee for each Amplify sauna. Storage fees for re-routing the sauna and return shipping to the warehouse may also apply. Exchanges can add shipping back to you. If it hasn't shipped, you cancel by emailing your sales representative, or through Sunlighten's order portal if you don't have one. Refunds go to the original payment method once the sauna is received, inspected and restocked, with no stated timeframe. Sunlighten reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange or cancellation.

  • How long assembly takes
  • The delivery timeline
  • Whether the sale price will last
