Choose ifYou want overnight sleep, HRV and temperature trends from a ring for under $200, with nothing more to pay each year. You have a Samsung Galaxy phone and want sleep, heart-rate and skin-temperature tracking from a ring, without a monthly membership.
Main trade-offIt has no sleep apnea monitoring or charging case, and RingConn takes returns within 14 days only for a reason such as a defect or the wrong color.Samsung says it needs a compatible Samsung phone, and the ring page gives no weight, warranty, return terms or accuracy figures.
Key specifications
  • Battery life: Up to 10 days on a full charge, depending on ring size. Magnetic charging on the included wired dock takes about 90 minutes to full. Unlike the Gen 2, it comes with a dock, not a charging case
  • Sensors and metrics: The page doesn't list sensor types. The FAQ says the ring continuously monitors heart rate, SpO2, body temperature, sleep, steps and exercise calories. Its comparison table shows 24/7 HRV and skin temperature too. The page also covers sleep stages, workouts, a Stress Score and cycle predictions. The FAQ says it doesn't include sleep apnea monitoring
  • Subscription: None. The page's comparison table lists the Gen 2 Air subscription fee as 'Free'
  • FDA clearance: None claimed. The product page makes no FDA claim and doesn't say whether the ring is a medical device
  • Sizes and weight: Sizes 6 to 14, plus 'Don't know my size' with a free sizing kit. 6.8 mm wide, 2 mm thick, 2.5 to 4 g. RingConn says Gen 2 and Gen 2 Air share the same sizes and sizing kit
  • Water resistance and operating range: IP68, to 100 m (328 ft). Working temperature 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C)
  • Data and compatibility: Stores 5 to 7 days of data offline. The ring uses Bluetooth 5.0. It works with iOS 17.0 or later and Android 10.0 or later, on phones with Bluetooth 4.0 or above. The FAQ says data transmission, storage and analysis are encrypted and processed on AWS servers in the UK
  • US import status: Not barred. An August 2025 US International Trade Commission (ITC) order barred imports of RingConn rings that infringe an Oura patent. RingConn then settled with Oura and licensed the patent, so in December 2025 the ITC removed RingConn from the order
  • Battery life: Up to 7 days for sizes 12 and 13, and up to 6 days for smaller sizes. Samsung says that, 'combined with a full cradle charge,' you can use the ring for up to 14 days without plugging into an outlet. Battery life isn't stated for sizes 14 and 15
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, optical bio-signal sensor and skin temperature sensor
  • Subscription: None listed on Samsung's Galaxy Ring page
  • Compatibility: Samsung's US page says the ring requires a compatible Samsung phone, the Samsung Health app and a Samsung account. The account must be registered on a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. The page doesn't mention other Android phones, iPhone or a minimum software version. Energy Score needs a compatible Samsung Galaxy AI phone, and select Galaxy AI features need a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone. Snore detection needs Samsung Health 6.22 or later, with the phone within 2 feet
  • Water resistance: 10ATM (up to 100 m for up to 10 minutes) and IP68 (up to 6 feet for up to 30 minutes). Samsung says to rinse and dry the ring after it gets wet
  • Tracking features: Sleep score, sleep stages, snore detection, skin temperature during sleep, heart rate with high heart rate alerts, Energy Score, cycle tracking powered by Natural Cycles, steps, and automatic walking and running detection (you turn it on in Settings)
  • Sizes and colors: Sizes 5 to 15 on the buy page, some shown as out of stock. The ring page says the range now includes two new sizes but doesn't name them. Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold, with Gold shown as out of stock. The sizing kit's sample rings cover 9 sizes, from 5 to 13
Exact variantGalaxy Silver, sizes 6 to 14 (or 'Don't know my size' with the free sizing kit), charging dock includedTitanium Black, sizes 5 to 15 (Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold also listed)
Dimensions6.8 mm wide and 2 mm thick, weighing 2.5 to 4 g depending on ring size. RingConn's page doesn't give the inner diameter of each size. Not stated by the manufacturer. The Galaxy Ring page describes an 'elegant, lightweight design' but gives no weight, width or thickness.
InstallationNo installation. If you don't know your size, choose the free sizing kit ('Don't know my size') when you order. RingConn says it sends the kit before the ring ships, and that it arrives in 3 to 8 days, depending on location. It suggests wearing the sizing ring for at least 24 hours, including overnight, then submitting your size under 'My Orders'. If you're between sizes, it recommends the smaller one or sending RingConn photos and videos. The ring works with iOS 17.0 or later and Android 10.0 or later. WarrantyRingConn's Return & Refund Policy gives one year from delivery outside the EEA, which includes the US, and two years in EEA countries. It will repair, replace or refund if a defect in its workmanship causes the damage. Claims go to RingConn with proof of purchase. The warranty excludes improper or negligent use, maintenance contrary to instructions, normal wear and tear and accidental damage. The policy calls rechargeable batteries consumables with a limited lifespan and leaves battery replacement out of the standard warranty. The warranty transfers to later owners. The Gen 2 Air page itself carries no warranty text. Not stated by the manufacturer on the Galaxy Ring page. The page links to Samsung's general 'Warranty Information' page without giving terms.
ReturnsOnly rings bought directly from RingConn.com qualify. You have to request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery, and you need a valid reason. The policy lists a defect or damage on delivery, a color that doesn't match your order, or a product that differs significantly from its description. The ring must be in its original condition, unopened and unused. Once a return is approved, you have 14 days to send it back. You pay return shipping, and shipping, handling and tax aren't refunded. The exception is a defect, damage or non-conformity you reported with photos in advance. No restocking fee is stated, but RingConn may deduct for damage, wear or missing parts. Refunds go to the original payment method within 30 calendar days of RingConn receiving the ring or proof of return, whichever comes first. Sizing kits can't be returned, and canceling after the kit ships costs $10. For a different size or color, the policy recommends returning the ring and placing a new order. Not stated by the manufacturer on the Galaxy Ring page. The page links to Samsung's general 'Returns' page in its footer without giving terms.
