Installation	None needed to stand it on the floor. It plugs into a 120 V outlet. A wall-mount kit comes in the box, and the manual says to drive the hanger screws into studs. On a wall it needs 2 ft of space below the ceiling and 8 in on each side. On the floor it needs 2 ft clear at the air outlet and 8 in at the intakes on each side.	No installation. It sits on the floor and plugs into a standard 120 V outlet. The manual asks for at least 20 cm (about 8 in) from walls and other objects. Leave 30 to 60 cm of open space above it. Keep it 2 m from a TV or other electronics, off sloped surfaces and out of direct sunlight. It's meant for indoor household use.
Materials	Six stages: a washable pre-filter, a medium filter, a BioGS HEPA filter, one customized filter, an activated carbon filter and a negative ion generator. You pick the customized filter: Germ Defense, Toxin Absorber, Pet Allergy or Odor Remover. Rabbit Air says the HEPA media is treated to keep bacteria and mold from growing on the filter itself. The ion generator can be switched off.	Four stages: a washable pre-filter, a deodorization filter, a HEPA filter and a bipolar device. The manual calls that last stage the ionizer and gives it its own on/off button. The filter set page describes the deodorization filters as carbon filters for odors and gases.
Warranty	Rabbit Air covers defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the original retail purchase. Its registration page says registering gets you the 5-year warranty and free round-trip shipping to its service center in the contiguous US. The manual asks you to register within 90 days of purchase. Filters, filter frames and cases, wall-mount brackets and cosmetic damage aren't covered. Rabbit Air may ask for proof of purchase.	Coway's manual covers the motor and electronic parts for 3 years from the original retail purchase. Internal and functional parts get 1 year. Coway's support list also puts the AP-1512HH under 3-year coverage. Claims need proof of purchase and a video of the problem. Filters aren't listed as covered. Problems caused by non-genuine filters, skipped filter changes, or commercial or office use are excluded.
Returns	90 days from purchase, with a prepaid return label, for orders bought on RabbitAir.com and shipped in the contiguous 48 states. It has to come back like new, in the original packaging with the remote and manual. Items that aren't like new may carry a restocking fee. Replacement filters can't be returned once unwrapped.	The product page offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and "30 days free return", with an asterisk pointing to the return policy. That policy gives you 30 days from the ship date to request a return. It also says you pay shipping, handling and processing costs unless Coway made the error. If parts are missing, Coway may charge a restocking fee of 15% of the price or the value of the missing parts, whichever is higher. Refunds go to the original payment method. The policy doesn't say whether opened filters can be returned.
