Choose ifTwo or three people who share sessions and can run a dedicated 240 V, 15 A circuit to the spot. Two adults with about 57 × 54 in of floor space and a lightly loaded 15 A outlet who want a near-infrared panel included at a published price.
Main trade-offYou can't return it once it's opened, and the warranty terms, heater details and safety listing aren't published. The 1,780 W draw nearly fills a 15 A circuit, the panel has no published wavelength or output, and beyond the heater core, harness and wiring the warranty runs 10 years, with warranty labor at your expense.

Exact variant3-person Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna2-person indoor infrared cabin, Indonesian mahogany, Tecoloy dual-wave mid/far-infrared heaters plus a standard 96-diode near-infrared LED panel, 120V/15A plug-in
DimensionsHigherDOSE now lists the 3-person exterior as 61 W × 41 D × 76.5 H in. Its interior is listed as 57 in (the dimension is unlabeled), 36.25 in deep and 70 in high, at about 580 lb. The maker's current exterior dimensions differ from the 71 W × 48 D × 77 H in reported by Garage Gym Reviews, which may describe another version. Confirm the exact unit and installation clearances before measuring your room.Outside: 47.25 W × 43.5 D × 77 H in. Inside: 45 W × 39.5 D × 71.5 H in. The manual asks for at least 5 in of clearance from walls on all sides, so plan on about 57.25 × 53.5 in of floor space. Health Mate doesn't state the weight or bench size.
InstallationIt needs a dedicated 240 V, 15 A circuit. HigherDOSE rates it at 2,930 W with a NEMA 6-15P plug, so you'll need a matching NEMA 6-15 outlet. An upgraded cord is available on request. It ships separately, and you fit it yourself. The carrier leaves the sauna on a pallet, as far as it can get along the road or driveway. Delivery to a room of your choice costs extra, by quote from HigherDOSE's sauna sales team. Installation isn't included. No assembly time or manual is published, though the page embeds a "How to build" video. Garage Gym Reviews says its installers took about 7 hours. It plugs into a standard 120 V, 15 A outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and the product page says "no electrician needed." The catch is the load. The 1,780 W rating works out to about 14.8 A at 120 V, which leaves the circuit little room for anything else. The manual says to confirm the breaker matches the sauna's rating and not to share the circuit with too many appliances. It also calls for a properly grounded three-wire outlet and strongly recommends a GFCI in potentially wet locations. The cabin must be freestanding (not built into a structure) on a level, dry surface. It ships crated on a pallet by freight, with lift-gate service and a scheduled appointment, typically in 7 to 12 business days. Standard curbside delivery is free. The product page lists inside delivery and white-glove delivery as quoted separately, and says extra fees may apply if the carrier needs special access or handling. According to the manual, the magnetic wall panels need no tools. The shipping page says two people can assemble it in 30 minutes or less. For outdoor use, the manual says it needs a cover and a spot under an awning or overhang.
MaterialsHigherDOSE describes the exterior as black mahogany and the interior as basswood. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independently verified species or emissions results. The finish and cabin-specific VOC testing remain unknown; the resource page's fabric test concerns the sauna blanket, not this cabin.100% Indonesian mahogany. Health Mate notes that grain, tone and finish vary. The info sheet describes a wood interior and exterior with limited see-through glass. The handle is stainless steel.
WarrantyThe product page promises a limited 5-year residential warranty and a 1-year commercial warranty. HigherDOSE's warranty page has no sauna section, only one-year terms for nine other products. It doesn't publish what the 5 years covers, so heaters, controls, labor, parts shipping and transfer are all unclear. Ask for the written sauna warranty before you order. The product page markets a "Limited Lifetime Warranty," but the same page's FAQ says only that Health Mate saunas come with a 10-year warranty on wood. The owner's manual is more specific. Its warranty section is headed "10-Year Limited Warranty" and applies to saunas bought after 2024. It gives lifetime coverage to the heater core, harness and wiring. Coverage is 10 years on the cabin and frame, paneling, flooring, door and glass, handles, electronic controls and wiring, interior and exterior lighting, interior audio, and labor of factory-installed components. A second, shorter column of 1 to 5 years applies to what the manual defines as commercial use. Despite that labor row, the same terms say labor to replace cabin, frame, hardware and component parts isn't covered. All warranty labor must be done by the customer or a contractor, at the customer's expense. You pay shipping on parts in both directions, and removal and reinstallation costs are excluded. A claim requires timely registration. The warranty can't be assigned or transferred unless Health Mate approves. Upgrades, options, parts and accessories follow their own manufacturer's warranty, and the near-infrared LED panel isn't named. The coverage table has no outdoor column, so it doesn't address outdoor placement, which the manual allows with a cover. Health Mate's warranty page words the lifetime offer as applying to new full-size saunas purchased in 2025. Its warranty sheet is titled "Limited Warranty."
ReturnsHigherDOSE's return policy gives Full Spectrum Saunas 30 days from delivery, but only if unopened and in the original packaging. Every approved return carries a 30% restocking fee, about $2,700 at the 3-person price. You also pay all return shipping. The 120-day money-back guarantee in the site banner doesn't cover saunas. The policy was last updated May 8, 2025.Health Mate accepts returns within 30 business days of receipt, with a return authorization (RMA) number. The sauna must be in new or like-new condition, in undamaged original packaging with all manuals. The catch is cost. The refund is reduced by a 20% restocking charge (about $1,060 at list price) and any original shipping charges. You also pay return shipping. Custom, private-label and non-standard models are non-refundable. An order canceled before shipment is fully refunded. After shipment, a cancellation is handled as a return. The returns policy gives 5 business days to inspect for concealed damage. But the shipping page says damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported within 1 day (24 hours) of delivery.
