Main trade-offIt costs $270 more than the Mask Glo, and the warranty is only one year. You can't return it once opened unless your skin reacts, and the 30 mW/cm² figure has no stated distance.

Dimensions200 × 220 × 120 mm. Therabody's spec table gives the weight as 514 g (18.13 oz), but its comparison chart on the same page says 576 g.190 × 98 × 207 mm (length × width × height). CurrentBody gives the weight as 1,220 g ± 10 g.
InstallationNone. It runs on two built-in lithium-ion batteries (3.7 V, 1,500 mAh each) and charges with the included USB-C cable. Therabody rates battery life at 120 minutes, based on a 12-minute routine with vibration. Charge time isn't stated. A display stand comes in the box.None. A rechargeable lithium battery (3.7 V, 2,600 mAh, 9.62 Wh) sits in the clip-on controller and charges over USB-C. CurrentBody lists a 5.0 V, 1.0 A power output. The controller has one on/off key and switches the mask off after 10 minutes.
MaterialsThe mask is made of PC, ABS and TPU plastics, with silk printing on the housing and strap. The eye shields are medical-grade silicone, and the vibration motors are steel and aluminum. Therabody's precautions page also lists Lycra fabric and transparent TPE as materials to check for allergies. The FDA summary lists ISO 10993 biocompatibility testing.Flexible liquid silicone, which CurrentBody calls "Best-Fit". In the FDA summary, the maker says the mask shells use the same materials as an earlier cleared device. It rests ISO 10993 biocompatibility (cytotoxicity, sensitization and irritation) on that match rather than describing new tests.
Warranty1-year limited warranty on the mask from delivery, and 90 days on accessories such as the charging cable and removable parts. Therabody replaces a defective mask with the same model, which may be built partly from used parts. It doesn't give refunds. Cosmetic damage, liquid damage and misuse aren't covered, and neither is battery wear unless a defect caused it. The mask must come from Therabody or an authorized US seller. If Therabody finds no defect, you pay the cost of sending it back.2 years from the order date, covering manufacturing defects. Damage from negligence, misuse or unauthorized modification isn't covered, and the warranty can't be transferred. For a confirmed fault in the first 6 months, CurrentBody pays return postage and offers a refund or like-for-like replacement. After that you pay postage and get a replacement or store credit.
Returns30 days from delivery, and Therabody pays standard return shipping. The mask must come back like new with all packaging and accessories. If it doesn't, Therabody may refuse the refund or give a partial one. The policy doesn't say whether a used mask counts as like new. Exchanges by mail aren't offered. You have 30 days to return it, but only new and unused, with all accessories, packaging and seals intact. You pay return shipping. Opened or used devices can't be returned for a change of mind. The exception is a skin reaction: if your skin is red or itchy 24 hours after CurrentBody's patch test, it says you can return the mask within 14 days for a full refund.
